Meet Professor Quigley!
At 7 years old and 16 pounds, Professor Quigley is a distinguished little gentleman with a story of resilience and hope. This handsome white Schnauzer mix was found as a stray, and when he first arrived, he was carrying more than just the weight of being homeless—his coat was severely matted and neglected, a sign that life hadn't been easy for him.
After a much-needed grooming and plenty of TLC, Professor Quigley has been transformed on the outside, but he's still learning that the world can be a safe and loving place. He is a very timid boy who takes time to trust new people and situations. Patience and kindness are the keys to his heart. He does have some anxiety when left alone and may bark, so apartment living would not be a good fit for him.
The wonderful thing about Professor Quigley is what happens once he feels comfortable. Beneath that shy exterior is a sweet, affectionate soul who simply wants to be loved. When he warms up to you, he'll happily soak up gentle pets and attention, showing just how much he's been longing for a family of his own.
Professor Quigley is good with calm dogs and cats, and he can peacefully coexist with them in the right environment. That said, he would also be perfectly happy as the only pet, as he truly prefers human companionship above all else. Once he bonds with his people, that’s where his heart stays.
Professor Quigley is looking for a calm, understanding home where he can continue to build his confidence at his own pace. If you have a soft spot for the quiet ones and believe that the best relationships are worth waiting for, Professor Quigley may be the perfect companion for you.

Adoption fee is: $300
ALL adoptions require a completed application, vet check, home check and final contract. The application to adopt can be found at www.camorescue.com.
Adoption fees are variable. Up to date vaccines, microchip, spay/neuter are included in the fee.
Once your application has been approved, we will put you in touch with a CAMO representative to set up a meet and greet. We select the best applicant for each dog, based on the dog's needs. For the safety of our small breed dogs and based on our past experiences, we will not place our dogs in homes with large breed dogs.
