Meet Kenai! He's a bit shy at first, preferring to observe from a distance before warming up. But once he does, you'll discover a smart, independent companion. He is a total rockstar in playgroups. He does amazing riding in the car, making him the perfect doggy copilot. While a fast learner, Kenai may benefit from some additional support as he settles into a new home-- he can get a bit overwhelmed by new places! He chooses his friends carefully and can take a little time to warm up to new folks in the home (chicken is always helpful!). He would flourish in a home with patient adults ready to move at his pace and boost his confidence. Despite his shyness, Kenai is a loyal friend who's sure to add a special rhythm to your life. Ask about meeting Kenai today! Volunteers say "Kenai has the cutest excited tippy-tappy toes ever!!!"

Torben is a stunning 5-year-old red and white Husky with striking blue eyes and a heart just as bright. He’s the full Husky package—playful, talkative, and always ready for an adventure! This handsome explorer is happiest when he’s outside—running, exploring, or simply feeling the wind ruffle through his fur. He’s great with other dogs and has a friendly, easygoing spirit, even when playtime gets a bit wild. Torben is housetrained and will let you know with an adorable awooo when it’s time to go out. Torben prefers not to be crated, as he experiences confinement stress, but he does beautifully free-roaming the home. In his foster home, he’s proven to be a perfect gentleman—no destructive behavior, just lots of love and personality. True to his Husky nature, Torben is full of energy and curiosity. He’s eager to learn and will thrive with consistency, especially as he continues practicing his leash manners. He is a little pushy with the kitties in his foster home and would probably do best in a cat-free home. If you’re searching for an affectionate, spirited companion who loves the great outdoors and fills every day with laughter and song, Torben might just be your perfect match.

Email our EAC team at EAC@savinganimalstoday.org for more information! Groovy is a 2-year-old Huksy/Australian Shepherd mix who proves every day that a missing leg doesn’t slow his groove one bit. This handsome tripod is full of confidence, charm, and joy—and yes, he definitely knows how good-looking he is! One look into his stunning mismatched eyes and you’ll be smitten. Groovy is fantastic with the dogs and people he meets and would make an amazing family dog. He’s friendly, social, making him a wonderful companion. Whether he’s trotting around showing off his moves or soaking up attention, Groovy lives life to the fullest and is ready to bring fun, love, and a whole lot of groove into his home!
