Story
I got Murphy from a breeder in Pueblo Colorado in January of 2022, he was only 2 months old. I started a new job recently and am working 11 hour days on top of full time school. I do not have the time to care for him and as much as it breaks my heart, he deserves a better home where he will receive more attention and get the daily exercise he needs to stay healthy. While Im working I keep him in a kennel as he has separation anxiety and results to chewing to relieve his stress. Excluding this, he has no behavioral issues, he is potty trained, he listens to basic commands although you do need to be stern. I never had him neutered and he may be behind on shots, yet is healthy. He is the sweetest dog and loves meeting new people and playing with other dogs when given the chance. Im searching for a loving home where he will have room to roam. If possible I would like to keep in contact and visit occasionally. Upon meeting new people he is very hyper but clams down after.

Story
Golden Retriever/Poodle/Australian Cattle Dog/Kelpie. These young pups (Aster, Petunia, Tulip and Zinnia) came from a home where they spent their entire first 14 weeks of their lives in a wire dog kennel. Currently they are 9 months old. Because they did not get out of the kennel for so long and did not have much exposure to the outside world, they take a little time to work up the confidence to experience a new situation or transition. But, they brave their fears and tackle any challenge with a very cautious but willing, happy spirit and a wagging tail. They are extremely food motivated and willingly work through their fears, so we have high hopes for them!! Zinnia - Needs a home with a young male dog and someone home most of the time. You will find her close to her person or darting around pretending to be a greyhound. She loves to be out and about. She loves to play. She is great with other dogs and takes social cues and corrections very well. She will take a second to warm up but is then very affectionate and will roll ohe would do best in a home that can give her an opportunity to run and has someone home most of the time and a confident dog to help her brave her fears. She would be one heck of a hiking buddy! Call Cindy 970-353-1385

She is the most shy of the bunch but once with her people she comes out of her shell very well. She is very affectionate. She likes to wade in her swimming pool. She gets along great with other dogs. She does like to chase the cats but has never hurt them. She will do best in a home with someone home most of the time and with another young dog. Call Cindy 970-353-1385

They are extremely food motivated and willingly work through their fears, so we have high hopes for them!! Aster – Needs a home with a young female dog and someone home most of the time. Is a very fun and happy boy. He has a ton of energy and is the sweetest and most loving fella. However, even with all that energy, after a good amount of physical and mental stimulation he loves his cuddles quite a bit and will snuggle up and relax with you too. He likes to be with people. I believe Aster would do best in a home with someone home most of the time and with a dog who is more submissive and doesn't mind playing a lot. Call Cindy 970-353-1385

Story
*** AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION, FOSTER, or FOSTER TO ADOPT *** Meet Maximus, or Max for short! He is currently enrolled in our P.A.C.K. Program, a 9-week intensive program for routine obedience, agility, and handling training with a prison inmate trainer and he is almost ready to show off his new skills! His new abilities include 'sit', 'down', 'shake' and more! New adopters should realize that PACK Program graduates will require regular, ongoing reinforcement of learned behaviors in order for them to become permanent. Maximus is still a very young and energetic dog. He has a bit of hard time focusing and controlling his impulses to be a wild puppy. He has been working so very hard though to be the best he can be. He'll need an owner who isn't going to let him get away with naughty behavior and teach him the rules of life. Once he's gotten exercise and is in a calmer state of mind, he tends to be ready for training and listens better. Maximus loves to play with other dogs. Some dogs may not like his playstyle.. as he tends to run full steam ahead to join the party. He'll need to meet any new siblings, and be given breaks to regulate his energy and attention. It's highly recommended Maximus be walked using a Gentle Leader or No-Pull harness. Without he gets a little squirrely and tends to forge ahead. Max did ok when introduced to kitties, but he may chase them in an attempt to play. Constant supervision is recommended, as we do not have any prior history of him living with cats. He is a dog with a lot of potential ahead of him. He just needs to have his daily exercise and have his energy levels met. He will be graduating towards the end of February. Apply to meet him today!
