Finn here, checking in. I am a Goldendoodle, that's just over a year old. I'm probably a mini-Goldendoodle, as I only weigh about 35#.. Here are my stats: * great with other dogs * great with people (although sometimes shy at first) * housetrained * crate trained * walks well on a leash I would love to go to a home with another dog or else a family that is active and I would have exposure and off leash play time with other dogs. I can be crazy of course at times, but I can also be settled and calm. As like any puppy, sometimes I put things in my mouth that I shouldn't, so I probably shouldn't go to a home with young children that have toys and clothes and things laying around, as I will eat them when I shouldn't. I have all of my vaccines updated, am microchipped, heartworm negative, and neutered. I'm being fostered in Sarasota and my adoption fee is $500. Energetic, affectionate, and always looking to please, Shanti is an amazing pup with a beautiful and soft black coat. She is the perfect size, at about 45 pounds, and loyal to those she loves. She is very intelligent, and while she acts silly and goofy, would do wonders in agility training, or even learning jump techniques. She is very quick and loves to do zoomies around our yards, though chasing the ball doesn't seem to be her forte. She does love treats which helps with training, but can be a bit picky with her meals. She has a Woof Pack leader who takes her out to our events, car rides, and adventures, to work on socializing and basic obedience. Shanti has had one canine companion since her arrival at Satchel's, and we are currently looking to find more, she is just very selective with whom she wants to be buddies, and would most likely prefer to be the only canine companion in the home. She loves to be loved on, always rolling over and wanting belly rubs, or leaning her head against you for face and ear scratches, or just wanting to cuddle. Shanti does love people, but likes to take her time to get to know them, and would do best in an adult-only home. Her perfect forever home would be loving, patient, and full of adventures. If you are looking to find a friend to brighten your day, love you fiercely, and give meaning to your days, come visit this wonderful girl, she will greet you with a smile and leave your heart warm and fuzzy.
