Story
Koda has been with us since he was a puppy. He was born in August 2016. We love him very much but since having kids things have become more difficult. Our oldest has severe eczema and until recently we didn't realize how much Koda was contributing to his flareups. We just had a baby last summer and she has recently developed eczema as well. Keeping such a large dog away from the kids who are not in school or daycare has become extremely challenging and we aren't able to give Koda as much as he deserves. Koda is a very sweet and energetic dog but he's more like a cat in nature where he is independent and doesn't require a lot of attention outside of exercise. He is an older dog - almost 10 years old - but has never had any health problems. He is very healthy and just needs to be up to date on his bordatella which we plan to do soon anyway. We want someone who has the time and heart to give Koda what he needs. He loves to go on walks, go to dog parks and do anything adventurous.

Story
Tayo is a 2.5 year old dog with lots of love and energy. We have had him for a year but with our schedules and other pets it feels like he deserves a better home. Tayo loves having other dogs to play with, but does have resource guarding issues with other dogs. He has been overall good with our small children, but I think he would be best with older kids. He loves to chase cats and our smaller dog, so a home without them would be best. He is crate trained and potty trained but he has had some issues with marking inside. He is a very typical husky so he needs extra brushing, he does like to dig outside and has an extreme amount of energy. He will need daily walks or some play time. He loves to have toys to play with, but those are also has resource guarding issues with those. He is a wonderful dog and he loves to cuddle and be with his owners. He doesn’t bark and we have had no issues with him chewing on anything in the house.

Meet Chance 🐾 He is simply the coolest dog you'll ever meet. He's the kind of best friend who's happiest just being close with his humans. He's calm, gentle, and incredibly loyal. He's content to lie at your feet while you go about your day. He'll always be there to greet you with a happy body wiggle and tail wag when you walk through the door. Chance is a perfect dog in public spaces, loves to engage with easy-going rough play (but never demands it) and very much enjoys at least one walk every day. He's been a wonderful companion to our husky, and his introductions to cats have gone very well. He's curious, alert, affectionate, and always interested in what his humans are up to which just makes you laugh out loud sometimes. Chance is such a funny and soulful dog, a true joy. Chance would be a great addition to a loving, active forever home where he'll be included as part of the family. Chance is fully housebroken and sleeps happily in his dog bed (not crate trained). He does well on leash, though squirrels can still make walks exciting! He knows sit, give paw, and up, and loves walks, car rides, and outdoor time. He even enjoys watching animal shows on TV and will happily respond (his favorite is The Lion Chance weighs 86 lbs. He does have a thyroid condition that is easily managed with affordable daily medication. His previous owners also shaved him due to a skin issue, so his gorgeous husky coat is currently growing back in amd he is going to be gorgeous when it does! Chance is fostered in Sarasota. He is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and heartworm negative.
