He’s a pleasure to walk on leash and clearly enjoys getting out for peaceful strolls, taking in new sights and smells with relaxed curiosity. Banneker knows how to sit, takes treats softly from your hand, and seems genuinely happy to spend time with people. At 2 years old and 50 pounds, Banneker is the perfect size for an active yet relaxed home. He’s healthy, heartworm negative, up to date on vaccines, and will be neutered prior to adoption. This pet is available for adoption from Cobb County Animal Services, 1060 Al Bishop Dr. Marietta, GA 30008, (770) 499-4136. Shelter hours: Tues. - Sun. 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., closed Mondays & Holidays. The adoption includes shots, altering, a heartworm or combo test and a microchip.
