Meet Roxy Hart! Roxy Hart is a beautiful, gentle Golden Retriever estimated to be 7–8 years old , with the sweetest heart and so much love to give! Roxy is a shy, timid girl who needs a little time to feel safe and comfortable with new people. Once she trusts you, her loving personality begins to shine! She especially adores children, is fully house-trained, and enjoys spending time with her favorite people. She also loves other dogs! Roxy is looking for a calm, laid-back forever home where she can enjoy a slower pace of life. Short, leisurely walks, a cozy place to nap, and lots of love are more her speed. She is not suited for long hikes, strenuous exercise, or rough play (although - she sure thinks she is!). Important Medical Information: Roxy is heartworm positive and undergoing treatment. She also has severe hip dysplasia, which will require lifelong management and is expected to require surgery in the future. Her future family must be prepared for the ongoing veterinary care and potential financial responsibility associated with her condition. Despite her medical challenges, Roxy is an incredibly sweet girl who deserves a wonderful forever home. She doesn't need grand adventures—just a patient, loving family willing to give her the comfort, stability, and care she deserves.
