Story
Hi hoomans, my name is Doli, and I'm in the prime of my life at about 9 years old.  Everyone comments on my sky blue eyes and thick husky-type hair that is every shade of gold you can imagine. My tail is like a fox's - thick, long, and curly. At 50 lbs, I am a fit and healthy girl  I am very chill and quiet. That doesn't mean I don't get excited because I do! When the "hoomans" come home, I do a fun little wiggle dance to welcome them! I would be a great fit for a shared wall situation (i.e., like an apartment of townhome) since I rarely bark. I LOVE being outside and like going on walks and car rides. When I am inside, I have the very "bestest "manners. I like the security of my crate, but I don't need to be locked in. I sleep in my crate, on the floor, or in the master walk-in closet that I think is my den. I wouldn't dream of chewing up anything. Well, maybe I would DREAM it but wouldn't DO it! I am shy around new people but warm up quickly and have adjusted fine in my foster home. I am not a fan of other animals, but if I see them out, I ignore them and hope they go away!  Hope to meet you soon! Story
Hi I’m Pol Roger, but you can call me, Paul, like my foster parents do. I am a fantastic little guy. I am about six months old. so I am past all that baby puppy chewing stuff. I am a husky lab mix. I may have more lab than husky because one of my favorite things to do is swim! I’m super good at it also. Foster mom says I look graceful when I swim. I’m not sure how big I’m going to get, I have very long legs and a long tail, but I’m only about 30 pounds. I do great with other dogs, kids and cats. I’m just one of those all-around good nature type of guys. So not only am I winning in the personality department. I’m also incredibly good looking. Sometimes pictures don’t do me justice, but I have beautiful sable eyes that can pierce your heart. I am mostly black, but I’ve got a few little patches of tan and a tiny tiny little wisp of white on my head, chest  and the tip of my tail. I am almost potty trained.  I just love running around, swimming and lounging outside. I sleep quietly in my crate My ideal forever home would include another furry friend to wrestle and play with!  Let us know if you’re interested in learning more about me. Story
My name is Brut, because I was born on New Year’s and named for champagne. Here’s the 411 on me:   - I’m a puppy and will grow to about 50-60 pounds - I’m crate trained and 99.5% potty trained - I’m social with dogs and people of all sizes - I like long walks, play time AND snuggling    The special thing about me is that the Dr says I have a heart valve that’s too small. It doesn’t cause me any issues right now - I run and play like all the other pups. It might grow to normal as I grow up. Or I might need medicine when I get older. My foster mom can explain all that.    So I’m asking a special adopter to apply for me, a special puppy! Story
Little Guy is a sweet, spoiled boy that likes nothing better than spending time with his people. He would be a wonderful pup to go hiking with on leash. He and his brother, Dozer, are avid critter chasers and will dig after those critters if not watched. The Husky in him means he needs to stay on a leash but the lab does calm him down some. He still has a lot of puppy in him but has outgrown the worst puppy traits. He also doesn’t mind his crate for short periods and sees it as a safe spot to take a nap. He loves children but may be a bit much for some very small children. He loves to give kisses and attention and small children are the right size to be face to face for those kisses. He also thinks he is a lap dog at times and loves snuggling on the couch. Little Guy can be a little shy around other new dogs and may take a little warming up, he has been around many different foster dogs though. He is on the smaller size, thus his name. If you are looking for a very loyal, loving smaller sized pup then Little Guy may be the perfect addition to your family. The boys have had all of their vaccines, been microchipped and neutered and on monthly flea/heartworm prevention. If you are interested, please fill out an application at www.mushrescue.com or email adopt@mushrescue.com with any questions.

Story
Noel is our special needs girl but we know she has the perfect home out there. She has been diagnosed with a neurological condition that causes her to walk a little differently on occasion and affects her temperament periodically. Noel is expected to live a long happy life, her diagnosis does not impact her life expectancy. She can be somewhat unpredictable and was unsocialized as a puppy so needs to be an only dog in the house. Noel loves her food and her sleep and doesn’t like to be bothered during those times. She is housebroken and crate trained, she LOVES her crate. Noel’s new family would be required to have a fenced yard as she loves to run. They would also be required to provide her with endless toys! She loves loves loves her toys and doesn’t shred them, rather treats them like her babies. Noel will need to have annual neurological exams. She’s a sweet girl and deserves a home of her own. She is current on vaccines, spayed and microchipped. For more information, please email adopt@mushrescue.com or complete an application https://mushrescue.com/prospective-owner-application/

Story
Meet the twin girls, Sydney and Sammie. They are 10 months old and just the sweetest. They are vaccinated, chipped and spayed. -crate easily (go to bed and off they trot) -no food aggression (though I always recommend feeding separately) -will allow brushing and sit for high-velocity dryer -love people, especially little ones -great with dogs though as long as they have each other, they could care less about other animals around -absolutely relaxed with crazy kid noises -house manners though they will have dinner off the table with you -very gentle -working on leash manners, no pulling just zigzagging -100% go together. They’re soul mates. Questions can be sent to adopt@mushrescue.com Application: https://mushrescue.com/prospective-owner-application/

Story
Lexi is very high-energy! She would be best with someone who can keep her very active. She can easily clear a 4ft fence and will find ways to keep herself busy if she gets bored! She does tense up around other dogs with food around, so it’s best to keep her separated while feeding or when giving her bones/high-value treats. She has a dominant personality and prefers to play with more passive or neutral dogs. Otherwise, she is very friendly! She loves to play! She likes to play fetch, chase cats, and dig in the water bowl. She also likes to play in the water hose (sometimes). She would be perfect for someone looking for an athletic, adventurous companion. She’s still a puppy, and just needs some guidance to learn how to be the best girl! She is vaccinated, spayed chipped, and ready to go to her new home. Story
Queen is a wonderful dog around 11-12 years. She will take some time to adjust to a new home. She came from an extreme neglect situation and is doing well with me but still is skittish around new situations or people. It is amazing how resilient animals are! She was malnourished and living in a pen for years with little human contact. She loves other dogs and will play for hours but will wait to come in the door until the coast is clear of humans. She does not love the human touch but will tolerate it and show no aggression when touched, just discomfort. Queen will thrive in a calm, quiet household with another dog and lots of love.
