Story
Calling all husky lovers!Meet Osiris, the fluff-butt on a mission to find himself a family! Osiris was surrendered a few months ago after his previous owner was no longer able to care for him. This boy is a total clown and lives up to many of his breed's traits!During the daily canine chorus here at the shelter, Osiris has a very distinct voice that echoes through the halls. We often joke that he has a very promising career as a singer. He has tons of personality that keeps staff members smiling and shaking their heads at his silly antics. He's very playful with everyone he meets and generally a good-natured dog. Osiris does well about keeping his kennel clean when let out regularly and seems to catch onto new routines with ease. He loves to play ball out back but still hasn't quite mastered fetch. He does well on leash and really enjoys long walks. So if you're into hiking trails, this might be the perfect pup for you!So far, Osiris has been pretty indifferent to the other shelter dogs and would likely do fine with another canine sibling. We were told by his previous owner that he only did well with the cats inside of the home and we have yet to cat-test him with some of the shelter cats (we will update his description once that has been done!). Because he does not recognize his own size, he might not be the best candidate for a home with small children. He's still working on not jumping up to kiss every person he sees! We were also told that Osiris does have the tendency to be a bit of an escape artist and will take himself on a long run if given the chance. Because of this, we strongly suggest a fenced yard with supervision or a home that's willing to walk him daily. We would not recommend using a tie-out for him. If you need someone to keep you extra cozy on the couch, consider bringing this blue-eyed babe home! **Neutered, microchipped, heartworm negative, and up-to-date on vaccines & monthly prevention. Weighs about 50 lbs**

This bi-eyed hunk of handsome is Zeus!Zeus is a younger male Husky mix that's looking for his forever love! He and his brother were found in a field near our humane society and were luckily rescued before they wandered into traffic. Zeus is approximately 2 years old and is the most well-mannered dog!He has a friendly and easy-going temperament and seems to do great with other animals and all humans. Zeus keeps a very clean kennel through the day and does well on leash, on a tie-out or out in a fenced yard. As long as you give him a scratch on the butt and tell him he's a Good Boy, he's as happy as can be. Because of his chill nature, we are confident that Zeus will blend in beautifully to about any type of home environment!

Meet Finn!Finn and his brother Sawyer (also available for adoption!) recently found themselves in our care after their previous owner could no longer keep them. Finn is the bigger and more confident of the two and really loves attention from anywhere he can get it!This brindled babe does not have a lot of leash experience and is in need of some guidance. We were told that he does have the tendency to be a runner and would likely benefit from a home with a fenced yard. He is a very smart boy and any additional training should be a breeze! Finn is also kennel-trained. He has been around kids, cats, and other dogs in his previous home and did fine with everyone! If you've got some extra room in your heart and on your couch - consider adding Finn to your family!
