Story
Koda is an incredibly sweet boy. He was originally brought to me as an emergency foster, but due to his extremely traumatic past it took quite a long time to rehab him. He was three years old when he came to me and has since learned to trust people and walk with a leash (still likes to pull but he’s getting better!). He likes pets on his terms, but always wants to be next to me. He loves other dogs and would not be happy in a home without other dogs. Sometimes he still gets separation anxiety and has been known to chew up books (still not sure about this one), but luckily if things are out of reach he does not go looking for other kinds of trouble. He never tries to escape the back yard. He does not have reliable recall. He’s goofy and sweet and has incredibly soft fur! I would love to keep him, but my schedule is too difficult for so many dogs and it’s not fair to him to be stuck inside as much as he is. I am really hoping to find a loving home for him.

Story
Hi, I’m Riku! I’m a 3 year old 73 lb. Husky, which means I have two settings: handsome and ready for adventure and even more handsome and ready for adventure. I’m a very sweet boy who absolutely loves my people. Give me affection and attention and I’ll happily soak it all up. I’m the kind of guy who wants to be part of the action, whether that means going for a walk, exploring somewhere new, or simply hanging out with my favorite humans. Speaking of adventures, I LOVE THEM. Take me somewhere new and I’m ready to investigate. I have a Husky nose, a Husky brain, and apparently a Husky-sized curiosity about absolutely everything. I’m basically your personal expedition team, except I expect snacks and compliments. I also do great with other dogs as long as they’re big dogs. Small dogs and I are not a match, so I need a home where I won’t be around little dogs. Think big-dog friends only. We also don’t know my history with cats, so cats are off my adventure itinerary too. I’d do best with kids 6 and older who understand that even though I’m a friendly, affectionate guy, sometimes I need a little space for myself. Respect my boundaries and I’ll happily return the favor with plenty of love. Come meet me. I’m ready to make some memories! My adoption fee is $295 and I'm neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. Apply to meet me today!

Story
Hi, I'm Max! I'm a 2-year-old, 65 lb. Husky mix with enough enthusiasm to make your fitness watch congratulate you every day. If your dream weekend includes hiking, camping, road trips, beach days, snow adventures, or simply pretending we're in an action movie while running through a field, I am fully committed to the role! Don't let all that energy fool you though. I'm also a professional at soaking up affection. Ear scratches, belly rubs, leaning my entire body against you like I suddenly forgot how legs work. That's my love language! I'm very dog friendly and enjoy the company of other dogs. Whether it's going for walks together, playing, or just hanging out, I'd love a canine companion, but I'd also be happy as your one-and-only adventure buddy. Since I'm still a young guy, I'd love a family that wants to keep teaching me new things using positive reinforcement training. I think learning is fun, especially when snacks are involved. I've met kids and have been a very sweet gentleman. I'd do best with kiddos over 6 years old who understand that even the coolest adventure buddies appreciate a little personal space sometimes. Cats are still one of life's great mysteries to me. I've never officially interviewed one, but the nice humans here can set up a cat test if you have a feline supervisor at home. Now for my one tiny, slightly impressive, superhero-quality disclaimer. I can jump. Like, really jump. If your fence is under 6 feet, I might accidentally audition for the neighborhood Olympics. I'll need a securely fenced yard with fencing over 6 feet tall to help keep my adventurous spirit safely at home. If you're looking for a dog who will make every walk feel like an expedition, every day feel a little brighter, and every cuddle feel like you won the lottery, I think we should meet! My adoption fee is $295, and I'm neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. Apply to meet me today!
