Hi, I’m Jess! I’m a 36-pound Goldendoodle who is about 2 years old, and I’m a smart, playful girl with lots of personality. I already know several commands, including sit, lay down, shake and spin. Spinning is actually one of my specialties! When I’m excited about dinner, going outside, or heading out for an adventure, you may see me happily spinning in circles. I’m treat and toy motivated, which makes training with me fun and rewarding. I have a good amount of energy and love getting out for walks, playing fetch, and running and playing with other dogs. I’ve previously lived with larger doodles and enjoyed having canine friends to play with. I can sometimes be an enthusiastic playmate, so another friendly, tolerant dog with a compatible play style could be a great companion for me. I’m looking for a cat-free home and would do best with children 9 and older. One of the most important things to know about me is that I form a very strong bond with my person. I love following my favorite human from room to room, being included in daily life, going along for errands and adventures, and relaxing nearby when we’re out together. Being away from my person can be challenging for me, so I’m looking for a home where someone is around most of the time or can include me in their daily activities. I’ve also done well having a calm canine companion with me when my person needs to be away. I’m also a quick and curious girl who needs a family committed to keeping me safe. When I see an open door I sometimes run through it and am very fast, so I should always be leashed unless I’m in a secure, fenced area. Meet Truffles -“The Ears Have It!” Few critters in the animal kingdom have ears that can move separately, up/down, folded, or crisscrossed. The magnificent Truffles is one of the few! This gorgeous, friendly, athletic gal is endowed with huge stick up bat signal ears. When not receiving transmissions, one or both of her giant receivers crisscross atop her head. She loves long walks on her leash, zooming, playing with balls & stuffies, tug-of-war and of course, cuddling. Truffles was born with a genetic condition called mega esophagus that requires a bit of extra time & special steps at meals. She has a custom chair that allows her to eat in an upright position. Truffles eagerly gets into her chair as she is quite food motivated. She sits in her chair for 15 -20 minutes after eating. She cannot have treats. And that is it! You might notice her throat moving like a bullfrog when she is sleeping, due to the enlarged esophagus, but that is nothing to worry about. Max has the heart of a happy puppy and the social calendar of a kid who hopes every dog he meets is coming over to play. At around six months old, he is playful, affectionate, bright and wonderfully enthusiastic about having a good time. He doesn't necessarily come with all of the classic Great Pyrenees traits, but he does come with plenty of puppy charm and a growing, clever brain that is ready to learn. Other dogs are definitely high on Max's list of favorite things. He loves to play and would especially enjoy a home with another playful dog who can appreciate his enthusiastic style. Max likes some good old-fashioned rough-and-tumble play and can get a little vocal when the game gets going, but it is all part of the fun for him. Marty is a 4 year old Goldador. He will be 5 on Thanksgiving. I got him from a farm in Prineville when he was 7 weeks old. Marty is an alpha male. He needs to be in a home that doesn't have other male dogs; he tolerates them but shows dominance when they are in HIS space. Female dogs are fine and he does well with kids.He is an outgoing, energetic, loyal dog. He loves attention and will cuddle and sleep with you if you let him. He is crate trained.His favorite things are swimming, rolling in the sand and grass, beach trips, and camping trips. He would be easily trainable for hunting that just isn't a skillset I have or have exposed him to.Marty is very affectionate and loves your attention. He is a very good boy. Old Yeller, is that a new trend? Old stuff made NEW?? Cause I am NOT old, although I am Yeller, a really pretty YELLER COLOR!!! :) I am a Yeller Chesapeake bay retriever/ YELLER lab mix, it is important for my new family to know about the Chesapeake bay breed. We can be very stubborn, smart and independent and I really like to be in charge, so my new family needs to be strong leaders too. I am a handsome bloke, with swirls of yellow and white all through my coat. I am very smart and very sweet. I can from a high kill shelter with no hope- Now I EXUDE hope!! And LOVE!!! I WAS heartworm positive but have already finished the treatment and am NEGATIVE and just stay on prevention for the rest of my life. I am good with other dogs, but really would be best in an only dog home, cause I want all the attention :) I LOVE MY people and I tend to take "control" of my home so have to have a couple of things... 1) STRONG leadership owner, 2) I have to have an owner who will be wiling to not let me meet everyone who visits.. I want to protect my home a little too much... and 3) I have to stay in the San Antonio/TX area so my rescue friends can keep close tabs on me and how i am doing :) I have been running and playing since I am safe, but really am a couch potato.
