So stop me if you have heard this one...... I was walking down the road, minding my own business when BAM! I was hit by a car!!! You haven't heard this one yet??? Well, sit back and relax and let me tell you my story of despair and hard work and now, REDEMPTION!!! Yes, I was literally minding my own business- I was searching for food, water and maybe some love in the mean streets... The car accident actually SAVED my life and now I am in my foster home and it is SO AWESOME!!! BUT, I have a forever home out there looking for a hard working, happy and SWEET fuzzy (a little gray)face and I am going to find you! I am such a good girl, smart and sweet and huggable. I have been through alot of recovery and am getting around great (see I was partially paralyzed for a month or two after the accident) but with the knowledge and love of my foster family I WALK again! I am pretty independent now and ready for the COUCH of my dreams! Look at my video and see how far I have come. I am great with other dogs, all people and for my safety sake would LOVE a KID OF MY OWN!! I actually am AMAZING WITH SPECIAL NEEDS KIDS :) I just seem to have a special connection with the special kids and sure hope to find one to be my bestest friend!! In return for your family and love I will give you my WHOLE life of love and happiness. I mean, look into my gorgeous soulful eyes and ADOPT ME!!! My foster mom can tell you all about who I am and you can decide to adopt me! ***This dog has a special need from her family. Please identify how you will continue her special care when you adopt her- Noel has bilateral hip dysplasia as well as weakness in her back end. She gets around very well, but needs monitoring and a quiet home. She takes joint supplements daily for life and anti inflammatory meds.**** Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $400 (includes transport to your area. Temporary $50 fuel fee will be applied)

So take a peek at my fur in the pictures and it will give you a clue as to my doggy personality! I am a happy guy, but I am a little bit nervous too. I am a DOG's DOG... in that I am not meant to be an only dog. Let me explain, I need a calm and happy and social dog who will be in charge of me. I also need an owner/family who is a leader and won't let me try to take over as a leader and make decisions, cause it is just NOT my FORTE! I am a follower, so I just need leaders in my family :) I am a gorgeous guy, loving and so sweet. I can be nervous with front and above head approach but once I know you its all good! So please apply to adopt me if you are a leader, have another calm and happy dominant dog and want to give me my furever family :) Oh YES, you must be ok with FUR :) Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Local only adoption please

Story
Hi, we're the Irish litter! We are a big family of 8 puppies! We're golden/lab retriever mixes with maybe some husky as all our tails have a beautiful curl. There are 6 females and 2 males in our litter, that's a lot of brothers and sisters! We all hope to get adopted and make a human family super happy. Right now we're getting acquainted to the puppy life! Eating, sleeping, playing, and repeating that cycle quite intensely ... hey it's hard work being a puppy! We are playful, loving, inquisitive, and sometimes a little sassy. You can be sure these pups have the luck of the Irish on our side. Plus we're mega cuties and all have unique coat colorings thanks to our parents unique mixture. Consider adopting us! Local adoption fee is $250 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $500 (includes transport to your area - $50 Temporary Fuel Charge will be added)

Story
Meeko is a sweet, loving, 7 year old man looking for a new forever home. I’ve had him for several years now, and as much as I hate to see him go I don’t have the time he needs. Meeko loves to play, cuddle, and loves a good walk. He grew up with 2 babies and 3 cats, so he is the perfect companion for homes with kids or pets. We had him re-homed around a year ago, and found it he was hit so we took him back immediately. He isn’t aggressive because of it, but he will need some extra love so he knows he’s safe and loved where he is. We’re not asking for an adoption fee, because all we want for him is a good home.

Don't tell the other dogs here how famous I am. I mean I star is some very popular movies but I truly am just a regular guy trying to find my place on this planet. As you know I am the embodiment of truth, justice, and the American Way. I am an all American Family dog. I select my friends (dogs) carefully, as I want to make sure that my family is my top priority. There were a few children volunteers at my previous shelter that I loved so much. I have never been around cats but I wouldn't be opposed to meeting them...if you love them, maybe I could too.

Story
Handsome, gentle, loving, loyal and fun-loving- meet Flinn! He’s great with cats, dogs and kids, eager to please and highly trainable. 100% GOOD dog! We believe Flinn to be a two-year-old Golden Retriever, Black Mouth Cur mix. Flinn is a rescue, so his exact age and breed are unknown and cannot be guaranteed. Flinn is around 60 pounds of love, sunshine and charm! Fall in love with Flinn’s gentle spirit here: https://youtu.be/TUZIKD8Tw7c?si=KMEb4MsCaNlmHUpL At first Flinn can be shy, but he quickly warms up to gentle affection and can be won over easily with treats! He's submissive and responsive to guidance, showing great potential for learning and adapting to a new environment. Flinn came to us without much practice on a leash, but he’s so eager to please, intelligent and quick-learning that he’s made a TON of progress! He would love for his forever family to continue building his confidence on leash! Flinn has shown positive interactions with other dogs! Flinn is most comfortable with female dogs, and a great and respectful player! A home with one or many female dogs would be great for Flinn! Flinn is great at picking up on social cues, taking correction and minding his manners with other pups. Although he may need some time to adjust to new environments, Flinn's sweet demeanor shines through once he feels comfortable! In a home environment, Flinn craves human companionship and enjoys hanging out on the couch, getting head scratches. Flinn LOVES kids, he’s incredibly gentle and patient with them. However, Flinn can be a bit reserved and may startle with the exuberance of a toddler in the room. A home with older children who understand his need for patience and gentle encouragement would be perfect for him. Flinn had the opportunity to meet our house cat Tom, and he was perfectly respectful. Flinn is recommended for a home with kitties! See his cat test in his video. If you're ready to open your heart and home to a sweet boy who promises endless love once he trusts you, Flinn is eagerly waiting to meet you. Let's give Flinn the second chance he deserves – a chance to be cherished and loved unconditionally. Email: samanthar@threelittlepittiesrescue.org with any questions! Why adopt from Three Little Pitties? The stray and animal overpopulation in the Greater Houston area is the highest in the nation. Statistics show that there are over 1 million homeless animals in this region alone. Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no other option but to euthanize animals for space. This dog you’ve found online is lucky to be in our program, and even luckier to have you notice it! Three Little Pitties wants to set you and your new pet up for success! We know our dogs and we work hard to prepare them socially for adoption. We are a network of dedicated people who are heavily invested in seeing our animals thrive. From the moment they are accepted into our program, our Intake, Behavior & Medical teams prepare them for adoption by properly vetting, behaviorally assessing, and providing customized plans depending on the dog’s needs. We seek to adopt to families who understand that these are rescue dogs and will require continued training efforts, but will be well on their way to being the best dogs that they can be! It doesn’t stop there! This spunky boy is full of love, life, kisses, adventures, snuggles and fun! Kyle knows how to keep the laughs rolling. He is a gentle soul, very laid-back, he was very comfortable around my kiddo, age 5, and leaned into him and rolled over for belly rubs. This is a gentle, sweet boy! Get ready to fall in LOVE! https://youtu.be/iO5ubvcfDHk Kyle is approximately 3 years old, 45 lbs and a gorgeous auburn color with medium length coat curled a bit like a golden retriever! His breed will remain a mystery until you DNA test him. With his gorgeous wavy apricot colored coat, he really stands out in a crowd! His teddy bear looks always make everyone want to hug him. Kyle has a soft and calm demeanor and makes a wonderful house dog. He is quiet and curious, but also very independent. While in the yard or on walks he enjoys sniffing out all the good spots. He enjoys exercise and adventures which would make him the best hiking companion! His leash skills are great and he loves to show them off. Kyle is the kind of dog who lets the love and attention come to him. He doesn't beg and isn't high maintenance. He is content laying next to you on the couch watching a movie or at your feet while you work! He loves companionship but doesn't need attention 24/7 like some. Kyle is kid friendly and has been observed dog friendly! He does very well in playgroups and his current best friend is another dog we have, a large male dog. He is very respectful of other dogs and doesn't play rough. With some dogs he can play for hours and others he enjoys just being alongside. Kyle is a very trainable dog as he is very smart! Story
Old Yeller, is that a new trend? Old stuff made NEW?? Cause I am NOT old, although I am Yeller, a really pretty YELLER COLOR!!! :) I am a Yeller Chesapeake bay retriever/ YELLER lab mix, it is important for my new family to know about the Chesapeake bay breed. We can be very stubborn, smart and independent and I really like to be in charge, so my new family needs to be strong leaders too. I am a handsome bloke, with swirls of yellow and white all through my coat. I am very smart and very sweet. I can from a high kill shelter with no hope- Now I EXUDE hope!! And LOVE!!! I WAS heartworm positive but have already finished the treatment and am NEGATIVE and just stay on prevention for the rest of my life. I am good with other dogs, but really would be best in an only dog home, cause I want all the attention :) I LOVE MY people and I tend to take "control" of my home so have to have a couple of things... 1) STRONG leadership owner, 2) I have to have an owner who will be wiling to not let me meet everyone who visits.. I want to protect my home a little too much... and 3) I have to stay in the San Antonio/TX area so my rescue friends can keep close tabs on me and how i am doing :) I have been running and playing since I am safe, but really am a couch potato. I am a bigger boy and about 65-70#. Look me up, get my number, text or call me OR just APPLY to ADOPT ME!!! I will be waiting by the phone!!! Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX)
