Sassy boy Sailor, is a dog that came so close to losing his life in a small town shelter in Tennessee.   He was so upset in the shelter that he was showing a truly bad side of his personality because of his fear.  The best foster mom ever who knows about behavior altering, took him home and learned how to show him there was nothing to fear so much.  He is a vibrantly alive 1-2 yrs old, 46 pounds Husky/Lab mix boy that is just so very sweet, handsome, energetic, agile, affectionate, intelligent, amazingly clean, and funny dog.   Our suggestion on the best home for him would be one that is with a strong dog leader who has no young children (over 12 is fine) and no cats.  This boy loves to go for hikes, long distance or short walks, playing fetch and being chased by dogs that he considers his friend, food rewards, food puzzles, being taught things new and taking his toys on his walks.  This funny, silly and full of life boy is a one in a million miracle.  He was destined to be euthanized and only because of this wonderful young woman who “knows” how to reach a dog’s inner self and reassure them they have nothing to fear, and now Sailor is here to live and love and be your handsome best friend in life.  All he wants to do in life is please you and love you with all his heart.  We do have Sailor on an inexpensive calming tranquilizer that has made all the difference for him and we will along a supply for a while.  If you are interested in talking with us about Sailor joining your life, please email us at ccrtennessee@gmail.com ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED. Have you ever seen such an unusual Husky as this girl we call, Beautiful Berkley?   She looks like a cross between a Husky and a Wolf but that is all circumstantial but she sure does have that smoky, mysterious Wolf look to her face.  Her blue eyes definitely anchor her heritage in the Husky breed and she is young at just 2.5 years of age and 65 pounds.  This girl might look serious and formidable but she is a true lover who wants to romp and play fetch and then roll over for belly rubs and then will give you a kiss for treating to such special attention.  This girl has energy as you might expect from a young Husky.  She needs an exercise oriented human who can provide her with a fenced yard and who will work with time to play together.  Beautiful Berkley is wonderful with children and other dogs but does have the Husky prey drive and we will not allow her to go to a home with any cats at all.  We are so excited at what lies around the corner for Beautiful Berkley.  If you are interested in her please email us at ccrtennessee@gmail.com   PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.April 29, 2024, 9:05 pm

Mighty Moses is a handsome golden colored two-year-old, 59 pound, Golden Doodle that is all about boy love.  We tried to post him before Valentine so that a family could gift themselves with the truest love of all...the love of a dog.  But busy times in rescue got in the way and we are hoping that the February month is all about the love of adopting a rescued dog.  Mighty Moses enjoys walks, car rides and snuggled close for cuddling by your side.  He gets along well with other animals both big and small which is a total PLUS.  He is housetrained, neutered and up-to-date on all vaccinations, microchip and on heartworm prevention with a negative heartworm test.  Don't let this handsome, young Golden Doodle slip by!  Email Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com  asap.  He's ready to go!
