Meet Snickers! 🍫
Snickers is one of Fern’s adorable puppies — born on August 5, 2025, and currently weighing around 15 lbs. We’re not sure of his exact breed mix, but our best guess is Retriever/Hound mix. Fern is Snickers mom and she weighs in at 27 lbs. Whatever his mix, Snickers is a sweet, playful pup who loves attention and cuddles!
Snickers is good with other dogs and young enough to learn about cats. Snickers loves to play with his doggie toys and running around the backyard.
If you’re looking for a fun, loving companion to grow up with, Snickers might be the perfect fit for your family! 💕
Because Snickers is still a baby, he’ll need an adopter who is home a good portion of the day to continue his training and socialization — no exceptions.
This puppy is up to date on age-appropriate vaccines, microchipped and will need to be spayed at the age of 6 months. The Adoption Fee for this puppy $400.00.
***Please note, this pup's immune system will not be fully functioning until about 16 weeks of age and therefore, s/he is not suited for Apartment/Condo living or Town homes without a private fenced yard and will not be able to go to public places where s/he could possibly be exposed to the germs of unvaccinated dogs, such as PetSmart/PetCo and dog parks until s/he is 16 weeks old***
***You must be at least 25 years of age to adopt from CKRescue***
The adoption fee for this dog is $400, which helps with the cost of routine vet care. This fee DOES NOT INCLUDE spay/neuter if the pup is not already spayed/neutered. If the animal you are adopting is not already spayed/neutered, you will be required to sign a contract legally obligating you to have the animal altered. A $100.00 fee will be returned to the adopter once the animal has been sterilized. We will provide information on this process during the approval process.
***Note that puppy adoption fees most often help generate revenue that goes towards older, special needs animals that need our help. Surgeries, heartworm treatment, boarding costs and/or all things that often result in adoptable dogs and cats being left behind to be euthanized. So, adopting a puppy saves not just one life, but many!
***Please note that our first step in approving adoption applicants is to complete a vet check. Vetting of current and past pets is very important to us, thus we will be speaking with the vet(s) listed on your application to ensure that your current and previous pet(s) are kept up to date on vaccines (including rabies), spayed or neutered, maintained on appropriate monthly preventatives and examined annually by your vet.***
Our organization cannot guarantee the exact breed of any animal in our care. The breed listed is based on any background we may have been provided, and/or the general appearance of the animal.
