Story
Patti is a loving young girl desperately in need of a home. She loves to play and stays close to her humans. She travels well and walks well on a leash to go to the local dog park. She was found at the back door of a home waiting for a human to come home. Unfortunately, it was not her home. We looked for weeks for her owner but no one could be found. We have no foster homes available so Patti is being kenneled in our Veterinarian's clinic for the time being. She is spayed, all vaccinations , heartworm negative and on monthly preventative. She is also microchipped. Please consider giving Patti the home she so desperately deserves. RPACI is a non profit rescue, and currently possess our 501C3 to operate as such. Please visit us on Facebook: Rebecca's Paws and Claws in Remlap and our website: www.rpacirescue.org. All dogs from this rescue are transported from Alabama to the Pennsylvania/ New England/ Virginia area and delivered in Pennsylvania, Virginia and RI. Each dog will come fully vetted. Price also includes transportation and a Health Certificate as required by law. There is a 100.00 deposit required at the time of adoption to secure the transport crate. The remainder of the fee will be paid once you pick up the dog. Naturally the 100.00 comes off the total owed at pick up. It will be refunded if for any reason you decide you do not want to adopt, unless the transport has already left.with the dog. To get a application please email: saveapreciouspaw@gmail.com You can also visit our website Rpacirescue.org to fill out an adoption application

Story
Thor is an absolute doll! He is curious, playful and loves to be near his humans and furry siblings. Thor's foster family reports: He gets along great with our Lab and our mix, who can be particular around other dogs. He has quickly learned potty training and will whine when he needs to go out. He has slept with us from night one and is a cuddler! Stays nicely with his siblings when we are out. They stay in a gated laundry room. Thor would do best in a home with another dog. He loves our 10 year old son. If we did not already have two dogs, he would be staying. We have fostered many dogs over the years and this one is very special. He has puppy energy so loves to play with our mix and he loves to chew bones! Thank you for your interest in Thor AB! Please visit www.hart90.org/petdetail.aspx?ID=18694 to get the most up-to-date and accurate information on this pet, to email the contact person listed for more information and how to meet Thor AB, or to submit an online application. Story
Here's what Atticus's current family shares about him: Atticus is a very sweet pup with energy and enthusiasm to spare! He loves to run and would make an excellent running/hiking partner. He also loves playing with other dogs that match his energy. Atticus is still young and still learning. We've been working hard with him on his manners (including basic obedience training and a 2 week doggie training camp) and he is improving week after week, but he would really thrive with owners who can devote time to work with him very regularly. We have two small children at home, and that has not been a great fit for Atticus. He is still learning boundaries, and while the children don't seem to phase him and he has never shown any aggression towards them, he doesn't seem to know his own size. Atticus LOVES playing with dogs, and has done very well at doggie daycare. We want to find Atticus a home where he can really get his energy out. He is a lot of fun and with attention and a bit more training, he would be a wonderful companion for the right family.

Story
Tiny Cutie Pie is a sweetheart of a dog! Her world was turned upside down when she lost her lifetime home when her owner had a stroke and could no longer live at home. But notwithstanding this huge loss in her life Cutie Pie is doing great in her foster home. She loves to cuddle and is wonderful with everyone she meets including children. She is also housetrained. She is good with other dogs but would prefer a home where she does not have to share her people. If you are interested in this precious little dog, please let us know. Story
Adoption Day: July 5th at PetSmart Tysons Corner from 10:00–11:00 AM, an approved adopter must be present to adopt. Some pups may stick around until 11:00 AM for the public event—check our Facebook page closer to the date to see if this pup will be attending the extra fun! Marcus, aka Marky Mark, is a fun-loving puppy who excels at 1) giving kisses! and 2) jumping on the couch to give kisses! He would be the most amazing dog in an active household where the people like to spend time outside and feed their dogs cheese. (He LOVES cheese! ) He's smart, social, and a not-bad listener :) Lately he has been learning fetch and loves it! ##2403565##

Story
Powder is a very sweet, smart, beautiful girl. She has lots of fun, positive energy. After some exercise and some treats to transition, she settles down on the couch. She does well in the car and settles right in to the backseat and is quiet for the ride. She is crate and potty trained. In the crate, she seems to do best with it covered when it’s time to go to sleep. She is curious to meet cats but respects when they signal that they don’t want to meet her. She pulls a little on the leash because she wants to sniff and explore but doesn’t fight corrections to her direction and seems very seems trainable. She likes chasing balls and howling when something fun is going on.   Her anxious response when she isn’t sure what to do seems to be trying to go towards the door or get outside. She is possibly a flight risk, but doesn’t seem dead set on bolting. She seems to have a little bit of food guarding instinct, but I have seen nothing beyond normal behavior of what I would expect of a dog in a new home. She has a lot of husky personality so if she does share a home with another dog, that would need to be taken into consideration.   Overall, she seems to adjust well to new situations and I can say she is very good girl. Mainly, Powder will need loving attention and decent amount of exercise and she will be a great dog.   Adoption fee: $525, includes all shots, sterilized, heartworm negative, dewormed, flea preventative, microchip   If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an application and a representative will get back to you shortly to answer any questions you may have.
