Meet Rebel Rebel is a Golden Retriever mix with a gentle heart and a soft spot for people. At a year and seven months, he is past the wild puppy stage and settling into the best version of himself, sweet, easygoing, and affectionate with everyone he meets. He has never shown a hint of aggression. He loves a good walk, and the one thing that really lights him up is a squirrel that needs chasing. Rebel's person is rehoming him because they want more for him than they can give right now. That is not a failure. That is love making a hard call, and they are doing it the right way, by finding him a home where he gets all the attention and care he deserves. Rebel is neutered, and we are bringing his vaccinations current before he goes home, so his next family starts with a clean, healthy slate. If Rebel sounds like your dog, reach out. Meet Scout, a 1-year-old golden retriever/husky mix who is extremely good natured and the biggest cuddle bug. Scout is potty trained, crate trained and ready to impress his new family with his good-dog skills, loving demeanor or sometimes silly antics. Scout is just a joy to be around! He always looks like he’s smiling Scout is also the perfect medium size at 46 lbs full grown. He’s super food motivated and very easy to train. He will do anything for a treat! Scout loves going on walks and enjoys playing with other dogs, but his favorite pastime is cuddling with his human. He is his foster mom’s shadow, always wanting to be wherever she is. Scout is also good around cats and children. Scout is sure to bring a lot of happiness to his new forever family. Meet Leo! This handsome Standard Poodle and Golden Retriever mix is a sweet, curious boy with a big personality and LOTS of puppy energy. He is going to be a large dog and is looking for a family who is ready for an active, playful companion who wants to be part of everything they do. Leo loves his people and is happiest when they’re nearby. He’s a big fan of fetch, exploring, and anything that involves having fun with his family. Once he’s had a chance to get some of that puppy energy out, he’s perfectly happy settling down right at your feet. Because of his rough start to life, Leo is still learning that he’s safe and that his people will come back when they leave. He can experience some separation anxiety and may bark when his people are out of sight. His foster family is helping him build confidence and learn that a little independence is okay, and he is making great progress. Leo is also playing a little catch-up when it comes to his puppy training. He came to us behind on some of the basics, but he is learning quickly and working hard! His foster family is helping him with potty training, leash walking, socialization, grooming, and basic commands. His forever family will need to continue that work, but they’ll get to watch this smart, fun-loving puppy learn and grow along the way. As a Standard Poodle and Golden Retriever mix, Leo will also need regular brushing and professional grooming to keep his coat healthy and comfortable. Leo would love an active family who has the time to keep up with his puppy energy, continue his training, and help him become the confident, well-mannered dog we know he can be. He has a lot of personality, a lot of love to give, and he’s already showing us just how quickly he can learn. Leo’s adoption fee is $400 and includes vaccinations, parasite prevention, and a microchip. This puppy is too young to be neutered. A $100 deposit is due at the time of adoption and will be refunded once Leo is neutered.
