Hi there — I’m Luana, and I’m on the lookout for my best bud for life. Could that be you?
I’m a lovely lady with expressive ears that give away all my thoughts — no secrets here! I came to High Country Humane after being found wandering alone. No one knows exactly where I came from, but I’m focused on the future — a safe, loving home where I can learn to trust and be myself.
🐶 I’m potty trained, super smart, and very treat motivated. I absolutely LOVE other dogs and really need a confident canine friend to help me continue learning that people aren’t so scary. While I’m not quite ready for petting or cuddles yet, I will take treats from gentle, patient humans — and that’s a big step for me!
🌙 I enjoy spending time outside during the day and coming inside at night to sleep. I don’t love the crate, and I’m kind of like a curious toddler — if I’m left alone unsupervised in the house, I’ll find ways to entertain myself (you’ve been warned 😅).
🏡 I’m looking for a special foster or adopter who can provide consistency, structure, and most of all — patience. I haven’t had much human interaction in my life, so I’m still figuring out what love looks like. But with time, treats, and a doggy role model by my side, I know I can grow into the companion I was meant to be.
