Are you looking for a new, obedient, and joyful girlfriend…well you found her in me, Aurora!I am a beautiful, gentle, happy, brave and playful 7-year-old golden retriever mix although I’ve been told that I look younger than my real age. I love working out by the kiddie pool to keep up my good looks and I go bananas for a romp through the water hose. I enjoy running, playing and having fun exploring. I am a gentle soul and easy walker although I sometimes become afraid of other dogs and bark at them. There’s a good chance that I am less sensitive to other dogs when not on a leash and just playing in my own space. I remember enjoying walks alongside my humans and cuddles are number one on my list of relaxation techniques that I enjoy a lot.Did you notice my gorgeous and soulful brown eyes? There is a lot for you to discover with my personality, and I enjoy the presence of people of all ages. I am happy with being the only dog in your home so that I can have all your attention to myself. I came to the shelter with my sister when our parent’s living situation changed, and we couldn’t stay together. I really miss not being with them especially since my younger sister has already been rescued from the shelter. I came here not feeling well with a kidney stone. I am all better now that I am eating a special kidney diet, but I cannot have treats because of my kidney issue so that’s one less expense when you adopt me! Thankfully I am my former energetic and athletic self again. If you`re looking for a loyal companion to fill your days with joy and happiness, please come by for a few visits so we can learn more about each other. I would be your perfect date for car rides, action movies and video games.I am spayed, microchipped and current on my vaccines. I am house-trained and I am looking for my forever home with you!If I sound like a good fit for your family, please contact my friends at the Humane Society of Sedona at: 928.282.4679 any day of the week 10am-4pm; excluding major holidays. Teddy is looking for a loving home! Things the team knows about me: I am a Golden Retriever/Shepherd mix. I am good around other dogs. I am not fully potty trained, but I'm working on it. Oh, and I love to jump. Like, I can jump pretty high. If you have a fence, I see that as a challenge. Come meet me at High Country Humane, located at 11665 N. Highway 89, Flagstaff, AZ 86004. Our shelter is open Thursday–Tuesday, 11 am–5 pm, and closed on Wednesdays. Adopting with High Country Humane means your new pet is spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccines, and microchipped (we register it for free!). Each adoption also includes a free health exam. Please bring a leash and collar with you or plan to purchase them here. We can’t wait to help you meet your new furry friend!
