We believe this behavior is likely related to kennel stress, but because every dog is an individual, potential adopters should be aware and prepared to manage and work through this behavior. For this reason, Seamus will do best with experienced owners who understand canine behavior and are comfortable continuing training and providing clear boundaries.In the right home—one that offers patience, consistency, and a calm environment—Seamus has the opportunity to become a loyal and rewarding companion. He just needs someone willing to put in the time to help him feel safe and secure.If you’re an experienced dog owner looking to make a meaningful difference in a dog’s life, Seamus may be the one for you.Adoption Hours are Thursday through Sunday from noon to 5pm. You do not need an appointment to come by and meet animals during adoption hours.

Meet Sullivan! A loyal companion! He is the best walking partner and loves to ride in the care. He will watch TV with you, hang out and garden with you and snuggle under the blankets with you. He prefers older children as the toys and loud crying is tough for him to handle. He is very well behaved in the home and is crate trained but does not need to be crated. He does love his toys! He is so good at catching and playing fetch. Loves a squeaker. He knows sit and shake. He prefers to be the only dog although is just may be getting more used to them and back in the swing of his doggie daycare days. Perhaps a lowkey pup could be his buddy (although he tells me he prefers adult humans!)
