I adopted Izzy in October of 2023 from a shelter in Statesboro, GA after finding her on Pet Finder. I wanted a dog to love on and for my grands to love on when they come stay with us. Izzy is a very energetic, loveable friend to all! She doesn’t have an aggressive bone in her body. She loves attention and truly loves kids! She will be 5 years old on 9/6. I have sinus related allergies and my grandson, we have found has pet allergies. He does struggle when he is visiting which is often. Izzy really needs a home with kids or another dog that can play with her and get some of her abundance of energy out. As I said, she is very loving and loves to give kisses!! She does shed but I would say she is a medium shedder. The one thing about Izzy that requires attention is that she is very afraid of fireworks and bad thunderstorms. She has medication for it but doesn’t have to have it if her owner is at home with her during those times. She was rescued and exposed to the elements.

Meet Spider, a handsome, lanky boy looking for a fresh start! He was surrendered on 7/24 when his family moved and couldn't take him along. His former family shared that Spider is house-trained, good with children and other dogs, and has been making progress with crate training. Volunteers describe him as friendly and affectionate, though he's understandably a little overwhelmed by the busy shelter environment. Give this sweet boy a chance, and you'll likely see his true personality shine! Spider is approximately 10 months old and weighs 57 lbs. He is UTD on vaccines, has been microchipped, and did test negative for heartworms. Please come meet this sweet boy in kennel 802; his ID # is 21086. If this cat or dog came in as a lost animal, we do not know how they might be with children, other pets, or if house trained.
