Story
This is Trip, he is a very loving and energetic pup! He truly needs a big yard and a family that can spend time with him. I recently left a job that was working from home and I am now required to go in office. With my husband and I both being at work and our kids being in day care he spends a lot of his time alone and in his kennel. We truly want what’s best for him and that is no longer us. Trip is house and kennel trained, friendly to everything and everyone. We have a cat and chickens and he is great with them all. He is up to date on shots and his 3 month flea prevention, he will come with all his bark box toys, his kennel, his food and bowl and any other dog items we have.

Story
Our family has had Ranger for about 11 years. We adopted him when he was about a year old, but within that time we have had 4 kids and mom has had to go back to work. Between work, school, and extracurricular activities it seems that we do not have the time to give the loving care that Ranger deserves and needs. He is great with kids and other dogs. He is very quiet and friendly. He also has a mini Australian Shephard sister that is 3 years old that we are trying to rehome. I would love for them both to go together if possible. She keeps him young and active! Please feel free to ask any questions about him, as we would love for him to go to the caring and kind family.

Story
Buster was dropped off near our house several months ago. He's great with everyone. He's house trained and sits, stays for a few seconds, retrieves, and loves to be on your lap. We travel a lot and can't take him with us, so he needs someone that can spend more time with him. He's had his shots and I can give you his vet records. He's very healthy and approximately 2 years old. Loves to ride in the car too!!!

Story
Meet Oona & Mora!Oona and Mora are two truly special girls looking for a family as extraordinary as they are. Born with a rare condition called Myotonia Congenita (sometimes known as `Fainting Goat Syndrome`), these resilient pups don`t let their diagnosis slow them down. They love to play, cuddle, and spend time with their people just like any other dogs. While they are not officially bonded, both our team and their foster believe they would thrive if adopted together. If that isn`t possible, each girl would do best in a home with another friendly, calm canine companion to help them continue building confidence.Oona and Mora are wonderful with other dogs and have learned to adapt beautifully to their daily routine. They eat smaller, more frequent meals with supervision, enjoy gentle exercise, and take Mexiletine three times a day to help manage their condition. They take their medication exceptionally well and continue to live happy, active lives. The best news is that Myotonia Congenita is not a progressive disease, and with proper management, dogs with this condition can enjoy long, fulfilling lives. If you live in the Greater Savannah area, Oona and Mora already have an established relationship with Dr. Jason King at Live Oak Veterinary Specialists, making it easy to continue their specialized care. Adopters outside the area will simply need to establish care with a veterinary neurologist or specialist for ongoing management. These incredible girls are currently available for adoption through the Humane Society for Greater Savannah in Savannah, Georgia.Interested in learning more or meeting Oona and Mora? We`d love to hear from you! Please email adoptions@humanesocietysav.org or call (912) 429-1042. We can`t wait to help these amazing girls find the loving home they deserve.
