Story
Hi, I’m Ember, a 2-year-old golden mix with a gentle heart and a calm, warm, and loving soul. I ended up in a shelter in Georgia after being found as a stray with another dog, but Angel Dog Alliance rescued me and gave me a second chance. I can be a little timid at first, but it doesn't take me long to warm up to you, and come on over for scrathes and cuddles! When you look at me, my tail starts to wag and I lean in for snuggles. I love giving kisses and being close.  I weigh about 50 pounds, have soft fluffy fur, and I’m always looking for love and someone I can give all my love back to. I’d be happiest in a home where someone is around most of the time because I just want to be near my people. I’m calm, gentle, and love a quiet day filled with belly rubs and cuddles. I’m learning to walk nicely on a leash and working on basic obedience. I don’t jump or pull, and I try my best to be a good girl every single day. I’m spayed, fully vaccinated, and had my teeth cleaned so I’ve got bright pearly whites. I’m also receiving my heartworm treatment, which Angel Dog Alliance is taking care of completely. I’m hoping to spend my first real Christmas with a family of my own, so I can be wrapped in love. I’m calm, kind, and ready to belong. Fable is a gentle-hearted sweetheart with a soft soul and a playful side. She's still building her confidence around other dogs, so while she’s open to making furry friends, she’d appreciate slow introductions and a calm, understanding companion. If you have a resident pup at home, we recommend bringing them along for a meet-and-greet to make sure it’s a perfect match! Fable’s favorite things? Pup cups, chicken treats, and a good game of toss-the-stuffy — she’s got a silly streak that shines through when she’s playing! After playtime, she’s all about the snuggles, happiest when curled up next to her favorite human. Stop by during our adoption hours. Can't wait to meet you and start our adventure together! All of our dogs and puppies go home spayed or neutered, microchipped, and heartworm tested (for dogs 7 months and older). They are also up to date on core vaccines, as well as heartworm, flea, and tick preventatives. Each adoption includes a 3.5-pound bag of dog or puppy food and a free vet exam at one of our participating veterinary partners.
