Story
Fox is a handsome boy who would love to find a home with people who are physically active but also don’t have a busy household indoors. He is aloof when meeting new people, and it does take time to earn his trust. Folks interested in adopting Fox should be relatively local, as he will take more than one meet to give his trust and be ready to finally go home. Fox is looking for a home without children.Fox arrived at WARL extremely underweight and neglected. Fox has gained weight and is starting to feel much better! He enjoys chasing tennis balls and romping with the staff who cares for him, and can’t wait to find a home that can support him. Fox is looking for a home without other dogs or cats, but he will be a great friend to people who appreciate his journey. If you think Fox would be the right fit for your home, please head to our website at www.worcesterarl.org and fill out the Dog Adoption Inquiry Form under his bio. That is the first step! All adoptions are by appointment, thank you.

Story
Ember is a shy girl who would be a great companion! She doesn’t always know how to respond in new situations but is learning to enjoy meeting new people and dogs. Ember would thrive in a home that has previously had dogs and knows how to encourage her.Ember may be able to live with other dogs, but they would have to meet first. If there are to be kids in her new home, they should be teens and older. We have no history of Ember living with cats.If you think Ember might be a great fit for your home please fill out the Dog Adoption Inquiry Form listed under her bio on our website at www.worcesterarl.org. That is the first step! All meets are by appointment, thank you!

Story
Name: Oliver Age: 11 months (5/10/24) Breed: golden retriever mix Current size: 66 pounds  Size potential: 70-80 pounds Leash trained: yes Crate Trained: yes Potty trained: yes Kids: unknown Other animals: excellent! Unknown about cats though  Energy level: high!!  House or apartment: house for sure    Story/backgrounds: Oliver was adopted as a pup by a med student who didn’t have time or money to invest in him. He wanted to have Oliver euthanized instead of rehomed or left on streets. Owners claimed he was untrainable and food aggressive. He is absolutely trained and we show some slight food possessiveness when in kennel but not all the time.    Ideal home/family lifestyle: ideal home would be one with room to run and a family that has time to continue training him, taking him on long walks and keeping him busy. He does so well with other dogs and LOVES to play. He doesn’t stop! He is such a loving boy. He is also a very water loving dog so anyone that has a pool or loves to go out to lakes I highly bet he will want to go swimming!! ##2373565##

Story
PLEASE NOTE: This dog is currently out of state but will be transported to Massachusetts shortly with no additional travel costs. Roughly 90% of our dogs are adopted prior to their transport up to MA and 10% are adopted locally.Meet Mikah! Mikah is approximately 7 months old, 42 lbs currently and he likely has some Lab in his mix! in his mix! Mikah was found as a stray with his sister Mia. In his foster home, he is working hard on his house-training, crate training, and leash walking. He could go to a home with kids 5+, cats, and young playful dogs. His foster says, `Mikah is a sweet, happy go lucky lab mix puppy! He loves to play and wrestle with other dogs, but will equally be respectful of senior dogs’ personal space. Mikah learns quickly and is food and treat motivated. He walks well on a leash and doesn’t mind a crate. He loves to play fetch with sticks and balls and he would benefit from an active family with another dog, who could play with him. He would love to go for walks or even hikes in nature.`He is available for adoption in N Dartmouth on May 9th. Please fill out an application on our website at https://www.browndogcoalition.com/adoptable as a first step.-Dogs may not be given as gifts or surprises.-Please thoughtfully discuss with your entire household the physical, safety, financial and emotional responsibilities of a dog BEFORE applying to adopt.- More information about our adoption process, application and adoption fees can be found at browndogcoalition.com

Story
Mimi is our beautiful but very shy girl. She is the type of dog who takes some time to befriend, but her love is so rewarding! Mimi didn't have a great start to life, so new things are quite scary for her. Once she bonds with you though, she is just the sweetest. Due to her skittish nature, Mimi should not live with children. She also does not enjoy the company of other animals. If you would like to meet Mimi, give us a call at 603-472-3647 and press 1 for adoptions.

Story
Welcome Sage to CCPAL foster program. Sage is a 6 to 8 month old Golden Retriever/Collie mix. She is medium sized at about 30 pounds. She is good with other dogs. She likes the water, playing with sticks and walks nicely right beside you. She has a soft coat and will make a nice walking companion. I do think she will stay medium sized. She is spayed, vaccinated and healthy. She currently is in foster care in Tarpley Texas. Her and the other dogs in foster care here are up for adoption through CCPAL Rescue. Sage would be fine with children. We like them to be 8 or older. Sage is not food protective and gets lots of off leash play time with other dogs her size. She is a wonderful dog and through some of the puppy antics but still young enough to raise with the attributes you want in an adult. Someone that isn’t gone all day every day is best for any new rescue dog. You will need time to finish off her training. She is currently in Texas and can be adopted locally or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get her to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. Her adoption fee is 400 and transport is $200. Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states Contact Marlene at 210-867-1769 or email to ccpalinquiries@gmail.com if you have questions. Online applications at www.ccpalrescue.org See her cute video!!
