Meet Peanut! Peanut is approximately 6 months old, 20 lbs currently and she is a mixed breed pup! Her littermates have all been adopted and now it`s her turn. She has been doing great with all her puppy basics! She`s got a head start on house training, crate training, and basic commands. She walks well on a leash and loves her doggie friends! She has no had any experience with cats. No apartments, please!Her MA foster says, `Peanut is your classic happy, sweet puppy — full of love, wiggles, and endless energy! She’s never met a toy she doesn’t love and will do anything for a treat. When it’s cuddle time, she shows off her signature somersault to land right in your lap — it’s her favorite trick! Peanut can be a little shy with new people or pups at first, but she warms up quickly and would love an active playmate to share her adventures with. Plus, a bonus of adopting an older puppy: she sleeps through the night in her crate — no chilly midnight potty breaks this winter!`She is available for adoption in Wilmington, MA or Hopkinton, MA by appointment with an approved adopter. Meet Penelope! Penelope is approximately 7 months old, 38 lbs currently and she is a Mutt. She was found as a stray at a boat ramp that is a known dumping ground. She is working hard on her house-training, crate training, and hasn`t had any leash walking experience yet. She could go to a home with kids 5+, cats, and other young dogs.No apartments, please! She is initially shy and would benefit from a home with a fenced yard and another young dog.Her foster says, `She loves loves LOVES toys. She has a toy in her mouth 95% of the time. She loves frozen or fresh blueberries, carrots, and Greek yogurt. She loves her brother and has more energy. When she does tire down, she is very cuddly and loving. She will sit for treats.`She is available for adoption in Hopkinton, MA by appointment. Are you ready for some big puppy fun??? Cooper is a happy, clever young guy that is looking for adopters that will be excited to help him achieve best boy ever status! This means positive rewards training, fine tuning house training, exercise and tons of fun and laughs in between. Because Cooper loves everyone he meets and gets very excited, he might forget all about the polite way to greet people and be a bit on the jumpy side. Teens that are comfortable with bouncy young dogs and will participate in his training, will be considered. He can potentially join a home with a resident dog that is comfortable with his rough and tumble play style and who can be a good role model. No cats in the home at this time, please. Cooper is ready to become a wonderful companion for many years, he just needs to find his forever family. If you think he might be the one for you, please drop by the shelter during open hours to talk to staff. Tuesday- Sunday 12-3p
