Meet Buddy!
Buddy is a handsome, happy-go-lucky Golden Retriever born on January 7, 2023, weighing 62 lbs of pure love and energy. He was purchased from a breeder as a very young puppy to be an emotional support animal for a handicapped individual. Sadly, due to the person’s declining mental health, they are no longer able to care for Buddy - through no fault of his own. The good news? Buddy is healthy, with no known medical conditions, and ready to start his next chapter with a forever family.
Buddy is the definition of a sweet, affectionate, and good-natured companion. He loves people and greets new friends with enthusiasm and a wagging tail. He’s playful, enjoys toys and treats, and even likes bath time (yes, really!). Buddy knows Sit and Stay, walks well on a leash, enjoys car rides, and has a solid understanding of house manners.
He does wonderfully with other dogs and enjoys their company. He has only recently met a cat and is still trying to decide if they are friend or foe, so a cat-savvy home would need slow introductions. Buddy is an active boy and thrives with regular exercise and engagement.

Will require a large, securely fenced yard

Many of the animals in our foster program come to us with limited or unknown histories. OUR FOSTER ANIMALS ARE LIVING IN FOSTER HOMES AND TREATED LIKE FAMILY UNTIL THEY FIND THEIR OWN FUREVER FAMILIES. OUR ADOPTION PROECESS REQUIRES AN APPLICATION TO BE COMPLETED AND APPROVED BEFORE A MEET-N-GREET WITH THE ANIMAL CAN TAKE PLACE. ADOPTION FEES ARE NECESSARY TO HELP US COVER VETTING COSTS FOR OUR RESCUED ANIMALS.
