Story
I got Goose from a rescue in 2019 when he was just 10 months old. He is a sweet dog! Good with kids, lots of energy, loves belly rubs, car rides, pup cups and has the zoomies often. He is content and will sleep next to you on the couch or bed. He struggles with anxiety, often retreats with loud noises and abrupt movements. He has shown no signs of aggression in the 6 years I’ve had him. Now that we have young children, I feel goose would benefit with an owner or family that can give him more attention. He struggles with a leash but with reinforcement, he walks well.

Location: Sioux Falls, SD Meet your future best friend! This is Rooney. He is a sweet boy and is the perfect mix of playful and laid-back. He LOVES chewing on sturdy chew sticks and will happily entertain himself, but he is just as content curling up next to you for some quality cuddle time. He is house-trained and kennel-trained, making him an easy addition to your home. He does wonderfully with other dogs and cats, so he would fit right in with a multi-pet family. Playtime is important to him, but he is not overly high-energy—he is just as happy laying around and relaxing after some fun. One quirky detail: He does eat a little too enthusiastically, so he will need a slow-feed bowl at mealtime to keep things safe and comfortable. If you’re looking for a loving companion who can keep up for playtime but also knows how to chill, this cuddly, well-mannered guy might be your perfect match! --------------- The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org). Adoption fee includes spay/neuter, all age-appropriate vaccinations (distemper, rabies, and bordetella), heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, heartworm test (dogs), FIV/FeLV test (cats), dewormed, and microchip implant (including registration). Rescue Network is strictly foster based which means all adoptable animals are in a home and there cannot be a meet until an application is submitted and approved.
