Story
My name is Milo Magoo and I am a 3 year old Golden Doodle with a birthday that is coming in the next few days… to turn 3 yrs. old.  I weigh 80 pounds and I am looking for an attentive and dog training family that will really shape and polish me to be the spectacular dog that I have the potential to be.  My current family really has no time to work with me to shape me in to a dog with great manners and emotional control.   I am bored in this home and I need physical and mental stimulation and fun challenges to do.  I am very happy, sweet, and very active with running and playing.  I am a male that is ALL BOY and if I had my wish I would say to adopt me if you have a girl dog in the family.   I would love to have a girlfriend for life!  When I am bored my favorite, yet dangerous, thing to do is eat socks.  So please watch that if you take me home.  It is totally out of boredom.   Critter Cavalry Rescue is tryng to change all this by placing me in the right home that they will review closely.   I am a silver tawny coloring and people just ohhhhh and ahhhhh over the color of my coat of  hair.  If you would like to adopt me please email right away at ccrnewengland@gmail.com Mention in the email where you live!!!   That helps so much too.  PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.November 4, 2024, 11:48 pm

Story
Princess  Bunny is a rarely known about Cream Golden Retriever who is a lucky girl born on St. Patrick's Day in March of  2023. She is a very rare breed that is beautiful and highly sought after.  This girl is lovely and loving and of course soft and very pretty.  Her very rare personality of submission and kindness is just the picture of perfection. Princess Bunny is young and just 61 pounds and a very royal and princess elegant physique of snow white fur.  When you walk this girl  you better be ready to answer the questions of  “what breed if this dog”?   She is that rare for adoptions. She is with us because her humans lost their home and reluctantly had to rehome this beautiful girl. She was raised with children, other dogs and is the perfect household addition. She might have too much of an interest in our feline friends so we would recommend a home with no cats.  in her foster home she found her best friend in one of the puppies that her foster mom is fostering. If you are interested in Princess Bunny please email us at ccrnewengland@gmail.com PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comDecember 10, 2024, 6:12 pm

Story
This gorgeous red golden retriever is called Banks, and he is certainly a dog you can  take to the bank with all his great attributes and good looks.  The vet's office today is raving about how sweet and handsome he is.   A very young guy had this boy and lost his rented trailer.   Critter cavalry had been trying to get him to let this dog come into our program. For a few months.  We knew there would be more stability for Banks life if he could be rehomed by us.   Our prayers were answered for this. Sweet boy who is eighteen months old and weighs sixty five pounds.   He is crate trained and pretty much house broken and a very level and calm personality.   We don't have pure bred Goldens that are young in our rescue.   He is a rare gem and should be a treasure to adopt here before Christmas.   We know he's been around a young baby too and did so well.   Good with dogs and cats, there doesn't seem to be any problems with this boy.   Hurry if you're interested.  He can be transported to the northeast up from Tennessee on12/13.   Email Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrnewengland@gmail.com  PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comDecember 13, 2024, 11:49 am

Story
Are you ready for some big puppy fun??? Cooper is a happy, clever young guy that is looking for adopters that will be excited to help him achieve best boy ever status! This means positive rewards training, fine tuning house training, exercise and tons of fun and laughs in between. Because Cooper loves everyone he meets and gets very excited, he might forget all about the polite way to greet people and be a bit on the jumpy side. Teens that are comfortable with bouncy young dogs and will participate in his training, will be considered. He can potentially join a home with a resident dog that is comfortable with his rough and tumble play style and who can be a good role model. No cats in the home at this time, please. Cooper is ready to become a wonderful companion for many years, he just needs to find his forever family. If you think he might be the one for you, please drop by the shelter during open hours to talk to staff. Tuesday- Sunday 12-3p

Story
This is one dog who would be "Barry" happy to meet you! No matter the activity Barry is able to meet you at your energy level! This dog would love to go on a long hike or just stay home and cuddle! As long as people are around to give him love and affection he is perfectly happy! Barry does think of himself as a lap dog though so any potential adopters should be wary that they wont have much personal space as Barry thinks everyone's space is for sharing!

Story
Name Loki Male Color Tan Breed Mini Golden Retriever mix  Age 1-1.5 Weight 14 lbs Owner Surrender no Street Save Yes. What’s their story Loki was waiting outside our fence on a Friday afternoon, the day after thanksgiving.  He barked for about an hour and wouldn't let us near him initially.  That evening he dug his way INTO our backyard.  Our four dogs had already seen him and after a quick, and surprising introduction that evening, he stuck around outside.  He was very submissive.  The next morning he let us pet him.  Then that evening he stayed inside in the bathroom.  By Sunday he was right at home inside! He had his nails trimmed and some fleas.  He just wants lots of love and is a bit awkward, as if though he wasn't paid attention to.  He wants to be on your lap, but doesn't know how to and stands on you a bit dorky. He will jump on the bed and wants to be around the dogs and the humans.  We are only not foster failing because we have four dogs already.  If not, we'd LOVE to keep him and are already in love with him.  Walks good on a leash No.  He appears to not have been walked before.  He will likely need some training and a harness vs a leash. Kennel trained. Doesn't love the kennel, especially as he is not super chewy treat motivated.  He has been staying in a bathroom overnight with a gate and does well. No accidents.  He does sleep the whole night in there.  He can adjust to a kennel with high value treats. Good with dogs Extremely good with dogs.   Good with cats Not cat tested. Good with kids Have not seen him around small kids, but is extremely gentle and sweet. Not cat tested, but we believe he would do just fine Potty trained Hasn't had any accidents inside, but does mark some.  We're working on that.  It's definitely marking and not peeing.  We have another fairly new dog that we're also working on with that so that could be why.  Could live in apartment? Yes.  But needs to be walked several times a day as he has lots of energy.  A yard would be better. Jumps A little, but is so sweet and listens when you tell him to get off. Barks Except for the day we met him, he doesn't really bard, Separation Anxiety .  Maybe.  He was in the bathroom alone while we were out, and the gate wasn't completely secure and he found his way out to the other dogs. Chews Have seen him chew a shoe and a lego.  Not destructive, just needs direction. Good in the car Yes.  Did great in the car the couple of times we've had to take him.  Chase and fetch ball No.  But could learn.  Loves to play with soft toys. Personality By far the sweetest dog we've ever had in the house.  Loves people.  Loves dogs. Any behavior issues A little bit of marking, a little bit of chewing.  Nothing a little training, patience and time can't fix. Best home would be with people who want their dog around as part of the family.  Ideally a home that has another sweet dog looking for a playmate.  A yard for Loki to run around in.  A home that allows their dogs on the bed and doesn't keep him isolated. He is a complete sweetheart. ##2251758##
