Story
Hi! I`m Will.i.am, a young Lab/Retriever mix with a goofy and sweet personality. I was raised in a nursery alongside my mom and brother, but now I’m a big boy ready for a home of my own! I am currently around 10 weeks old and am doing great with house and crate training. I still sometimes have accidents at night, but during the day I know to go right to the door to the outside to go potty. I love to wrestle and play with other puppies! I also nap a lot in between play sessions. I love having my belly rubbed and am known to steal and hoard toys in my crate. I am going to grow to be an BIG boy so I need someone ready for an oversized love bug. Adopting me means endless fun and a loyal companion by your side. I can`t wait to find a family who loves adventures as much as I do! Will.i.am has been microchipped, vaccinated, and kept current on monthly preventatives. He is too young to neuter but that is included with the adoption. For the first steps of adoption submit an application here: https://humanesocietyofwilkes.org/adopt/application. For questions or pictures of his mom you can email the foster home at julianshumate@gmail.com.

Story
Bought her for a family dog for my teenage son. He, unfortunately, lost interest in her due to suffering from a disability. I am a professional and cannot give her the attention she deserves. An absolutely beautiful dog! She is super energetic and a sweet dog. She is a pup and has pup behavior. We have worked on potty training with some moderate luck that still needs work. She is healthy, has had her 5 way vaccinations but needs her rabies. She loves to play! I have her CKC papers, she is chipped. She came from a reputable breeder. She will make a great furry friend for someone who has the time to give her she deserves. I have her harness, XL dog kennel, she is already trained to, and leash. It will go with her when she is adopted.

Story
Meet McCoy – the sweetest little sidekick you didn’t know you were missing. At just 4.5 months old and 24 pounds, McCoy is a delightful mix of silly, snuggly, and smart. He may be a tiny bit shy at first, but give him a little patience and you’ll quickly discover his playful personality and affectionate heart. McCoy comes from a pretty interesting family tree! His mom is a Heeler/Beagle mix and his dad is a cream-colored Goldendoodle, which resulted in one very unique and adorable pup. He has the coloring of his siblings but favors his Beagle-mix mama in looks — with short little legs, a loooong Basset-style body, and a thick, medium-length coat that’s perfect for cuddling. Though he was born outside and spent his early weeks living outdoors with his parents and littermates, McCoy is now thriving inside a loving foster home. He’s learning all about family life — from the excitement of greeting you at the door (he gives the best welcome-home kisses!) to living with young boys ages 6 and 10. Every day he grows braver and more confident. At first, the big dogs in his foster home made him a little nervous — but now? He’s happily part of the crew. He absolutely loves to run and play outside, and fetch with tennis balls is quickly becoming one of his favorite games. And yes… he is SMART. You can just see those wheels turning. One of the most special things about McCoy is how deeply he bonds with his people. When his foster mom recently had a terrible migraine, McCoy instinctively curled up beside her and stayed close, offering quiet comfort. He’s not just cute — he truly cares. His activity level is beautifully balanced. He enjoys playtime and adventures, but he’s just as happy snuggled up right next to you. With a loving, supportive family, McCoy is going to absolutely bloom into the best kind of companion — loyal, joyful, and full of heart. He is expected to grow to around 45–50 pounds when fully grown. If you’re looking for a special boy who is adorable inside and out, McCoy may be your perfect match. To learn more about McCoy, please email Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrnewengland@gmail.com. We transport from our rescue base in Nashville up the northeastern corridor of states to approved adopters. McCoy is ready to find his forever family — maybe it’s you. PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.March 7, 2026, 12:24 pm
