She thrives in a calm and patient setting where she can build trust and form a strong bond with her family. Olympia is a retriever mix who is just under a year old. She weighs about 31 pounds. She is spayed and up to date on vaccines. If you're looking for a loyal and affectionate companion who will bring warmth and joy to your home, Olympia might be the perfect fit. The adoption amount is a suggested donation of $200 to $300 dollars based on the pet’s age.      **Because our rescue is composed entirely of volunteers, local applications will take precedence. We will accept out of town applications, but any family is responsible for coming to Charlotte to complete a meet and greet. Story
Jupiter is a 2 year old male AKC Golden Retriever that came to us after his family was impacted by Hurricane Helene. He came to us underweight, with food insecurity issues, and having spent the majority of his time outdoors. We have had him for several months now. He is now of appropriate weight and his food insecurity has almost entirely subsided. He is house trained, however, due to his early experiences still enjoys spending the majority of his day outdoors exploring the yard or napping on the deck. Jupiter is playful, talkative, and gets along with most other dogs. He does not get along well with cats or poultry. He does fine with older children but still needs to work on manners (such as his habit of jumping on people) so may do better in a home without small children. Jupiter has so much potential and love to give and is ready now for his forever family!
