Me and my shadow! If you remember that song, you’ll know how nice it is to have a friend you can count on! True to his name, Shadow will be your constant companion, always ready to be at your feet or right by your side. Shadow is a young lab/retriever mix of around 35lbs with lots of growing left to do. Goofy and ready for fun, he can be a little nervous when meeting new friends, but he lets his gentle personality lead the way and has shown he even gets along with cats. Quite the gentleman. He’s a smart boy that picks up on new tricks quickly and loves being outside for all things. If you’re looking for an adventure buddy who equally loves a snooze session at your feet, come out to Saving Grace to meet Shadow. *Sleepover feedback:"We have another dog at home, two cats and two small children under 7. He was slow to warm up to us but once he met our dog, he had much more confidence! Shadow did so well getting settled into the routines, he even served as a shining example of how to behave around new dogs on walks for our "not-so-calm" dog.Shadow does great on car rides and loves having a comfortable bed in the car to snuggle up in. He never had a mess in the house and appears to be potty trained already. Shadow slept great in his crate and didn't make a fuss over being crated overnight".
