Story
Meet Pantera! Pantera is a 10-month-old Lab mix with a sweet, gentle personality. He enjoys a nice balance of activity and relaxation—he loves to play with toys, but he’s also happy to chill on his own and enjoy calm moments.Pantera can be a little shy at first, especially around other dogs, but he warms up and enjoys playing once he feels comfortable. He has not been introduced to cats yet. Around children, he may get excited and needs gentle guidance, but he is affectionate and enjoys being petted. He is crate trained, responds when called, and is eager to please. Pantera loves attention, cuddles, and being close to his people. With continued confidence-building and positive reinforcement, he will continue to blossom.Pantera would do well in a patient, loving home that can offer reassurance, routine, and plenty of affection. He’s a sweet young dog with a lot of love to give and is ready to find his forever family.

Story
Leo is going to be 7 in November of this year. He is a very sweet loving dog, he is somewhat active but definitely likes to relax and nap. Unfortunately over the last 5 years he has become more dog aggressive, he does fine with my other dog but they will very rarely get into it with each other. I have cats and he’s been fine with them other than when he eats. He hasn’t been around kids so I’m not sure how he would be with younger baby/toddlers but believe he’d be great with older kids. He’s up to date on his rabies shot

Story
Meet Ginny, Ginny is a 2 year old, 30 pound Golden Retriever mix!  She came to us from a shelter and was an owner surrender with a euthanasia request.  She spent much of her life outside, and it shows in the way she trembles when a human reaches for her.  This sweet girl is very timid & shy with humans. She has never truly known safety!  We do think she was abused, not just neglected.  Despite everything she has been through, Ginney is incredibly gentle.  She is a very sweet girl who just needs someone to show her love.  There is zero aggression in her heart - only fear and a deep longing to feel safe.  Ginny will absolutely need another confident, kind dog in her future home to help guide her and sow her that the world doesn't have to be scary. Ginny's forever family will need patience, compassion and very big hearts. She deserves to finally learn what it feels like to be loved, protected and home.  Getting her into a loving environment as soon as possible will truly help her confidence continue to grow! Please consider fostering or adopting this sweet girl. Visit www.scoutshonor.org to learn more about Ginny!January 26, 2026, 2:08 pm

Story
Meet Dingo, a young, sweet soul on a search for a forever home. Despite his shyness and wariness around strangers, Dingo`s curiosity shines through as he explores his surroundings with a gentle, cuddly nature. He may be timid and a bit stubborn, but his affectionate demeanor blossoms around other dogs, where he has fun and shows his playful side. With them he is easygoing, friendly, submissive and respectful. Dingo`s nervousness is just a small part of his charming personality, waiting to be loved and understood. We haven`t seen him interact with children yet. He weighs 30 pounds and will need help with leash walking to help him overcome his insecurities and house training, both new experiences for him. He has learned the sit and come commands. He likes toys and demonstrating professional-quality zoomies. He can turn on a dime! He also enjoys agility, fetch, running, tugging, chase, and wrestling but not car rides. He`s a bit of a digger and chewer and hoping to improve in those areas with a little guidance. He`s quiet, gentle, calm, and mellow. Adopting lovable Dingo means giving him the chance to show just how loving and loyal he can be in a nurturing environment. Story
Meet Walter, a true sweetheart of a dog! This adult 52-pound dog is a bundle of joy with a personality that shines. Walter is energetic and always ready for a game of fetch, yet he knows when it`s time to settle down on a lap for cuddles. He enjoys agility (including jumping the occasional fence), tugging, toys, walks, chase and his new pastime - swimming. Smart and obedient, he`s mastered house, crate, and leash training, making him a perfect sidekick for peaceful walks or lively adventures. He knows the sit, stay, and no commands. Walter`s curious and funny nature will keep you entertained, and his affectionate, mellow temperament makes him a great companion. His appealing nature makes him a favorite among both humans and dogs. As a social butterfly, Walter thrives on companionship and is eager to be part of a loving family where he hopes never to be alone. He is well behaved and quiet in a home environment but finds shelter life stressful. Lovable Walter is ready to bring love and laughter to his forever home - preferably your home.
