Story
Meet Koda, a young ball of energy who`s always ready for fun. His playful nature and curiosity make every day an adventure. He loves to explore, and his friendly demeanor makes him a social butterfly. Koda`s fondness for other dogs makes him the perfect addition to a household with canine companions. Around them, he is friendly and playful but also submissive. Sometimes he`s even a little shy. However, due to his exuberant energy, he can be a bit rough with children but is friendly and playful. Since he still enjoys puppy nipping, he`ll need to live with kids at least 12 years old until he learns his manners. Koda is also a cuddle bug who craves companionship and never wants to be alone. Koda`s jumpy, excitable nature is balanced by his house training. He`s still learning not to chew shoes or dig, but with patience and training, he`s sure to outgrow these puppy habits. He has already learned the sit command. He weighs 48 pounds and likes agility, fetch, tugging, running, water, toys, walks, and wrestling. Tugging is his favorite and he`ll tug anything - rope toys, leashes, whatever. He loves to jump and climb. He is more than willing to lead the way on a leash and he won`t run away while off leash. He was only given up because of the landlord`s change in pet restrictions. His ideal home would provide him with plenty of playtime, social interaction, and love. Koda`s zest for life and loving nature make him a wonderful companion. His adoption would bring joy, laughter, and a loyal friend to any family. Story
Meet Dingo, a young, sweet soul residing in a shelter, seeking a forever home. Despite his shyness, Dingo`s curiosity shines through as he explores his surroundings with a gentle, cuddly nature. He may be timid and a bit stubborn, but his affectionate demeanor blossoms around other dogs, where he plays and shows his playful side. Dingo`s nervousness is just a small part of his charming personality, waiting to be loved and understood. We haven`t seen him interact with children yet. He weighs 26 pounds and will need help with leash walking and house training, both new experiences for him. Adopting Dingo means giving him the chance to show just how loving and loyal he can be in a nurturing environment. (tw 11/27/2925)

Story
Meet Pulga, a 27-pound bundle of joy wrapped in puppy enthusiasm! Pulga is the epitome of playful and friendly, always ready with a wagging tail to greet everyone. She was well behaved and friendly with her finder`s children and dogs but since she gets excitable and nippy during playtime we recommend older children. Despite her clumsiness and jumpy nature, she brings laughter and light wherever she goes. She`s still learning the ropes — chewing, leaping, digging, and climbing are part of her daily adventures. She`ll need help with house training and leash walking. Pulga may be a bit nervous and insecure, but with the right training and love, she`ll surely blossom. Pulga loves cuddling and is generous with her puppy kisses, making her the perfect companion for affectionate moments. Adopt Pulga and bring home endless fun and unconditional love. Story
Meet Dozer, a vibrant and intelligent dog who thrives on interaction and play. His boundless energy and friendly nature make him the perfect companion for active individuals or families. Smart and trainable, Dozer knows his house manners but could benefit from some additional obedience training to channel his excitement and occasional jumpy behavior. With other dogs, Dozer is wonderfully submissive and respectful, showing a gentle side to his playful personality. He`s also cautious yet friendly when meeting cats, ensuring a peaceful interaction. However, Dozer`s energetic spirit means he can be a bit too rough for young children so he`ll need to live with kids at least 12 years old. He`s a bit needy for attention and loves to chew, so he`ll thrive with someone who appreciates his intensity and can provide plenty of toys and engagement. He would love a big back yard and lots of people to provide an outlet for his energy. He weighs 43 pounds and likes fetch, running, toys, walks (yes, he leads the way), and chase. He knows the sit, come, no, and off commands. He loves being petted and is fond of belly rubs. Adopt Dozer for a loyal and loving addition to your home. (tw 11/14/2025)

Story
Meet Dixie, a delightfully easygoing canine companion residing in a shelter, eagerly awaiting a forever home. Dixie is the epitome of joy, combining energy and intelligence with a gentle, cuddly nature. She`s not only friendly and playful but also comes house trained and leash trained (but a little strong), ready to seamlessly fit into her new home. Despite her excitable demeanor, Dixie remains tolerant and affectionate, always ready for a hug or a playful game. She weighs 55 pounds and likes fetch, running, toys, walks, chase, wrestling, and sneakily bolting out an open door. If she runs away while off leash, she`ll come back if you call her. She knows the sit, no, and fetch commands. She was adopted and returned because of her behavior around other animals. Even though she is gentle, tolerant, friendly, and jumpy with children of all ages, she doesn`t behave well around dogs or cats. She`ll enjoy being your only pet so she doesn`t have to share her `stuff.` Adopting lovable Dixie means bringing home endless love and vibrant energy, perfect for anyone seeking a loyal and lovable friend. Story
Meet Nova, a young, energetic bundle of joy currently residing at our local shelter. Nova is a party girl, the epitome of playful and friendly, always ready for a game or a snuggle on your lap, despite her sometimes rowdy nature. She knows the sit and shake commands. If she runs off while off leash, she`ll come back if you call her. She weighs 38 pounds and likes fetch, running, chase, toys, but not car rids. She`s leash-trained but house training is a work in progress. She needs your help in that area. She`s friendly and playful with one and call but can be rough with other dogs, cats, and children, and has a penchant for digging. She`ll need to live with kids at least 12 years old because of her love of using her mouth during playtimes. Nova`s jumpy enthusiasm means she`s best suited for a home that can provide plenty of space and activity to channel her energy. Adopt Nova and bring home endless fun and companionship!
