Story
Thor is a 7 year old golden retriever. He's happy lounging around the house or going on walks. With our recent move to Utah and our family growing by one this year, we have not been able to give Thor the time and attention he deserves. In Kansas he enjoyed our big back yard where he loved to run and roll around in the grass and the downsizing we've had to do has taken that away. Thor is great with kids of all ages and has grown up with cats so he gets along with cats and other dogs as they well.

Story
Meet Gus — the definition of a Golden gentleman. At 6 years old, this beautiful Golden Retriever boy is the perfect mix of playful and mature. He’s past the wild puppy stage but still has plenty of joy, sparkle, and tail wags to share. Gus is truly the “perfect man” — steady, loving, and happiest when he’s surrounded by his people. Gus LOVES kids and would absolutely thrive in a family home where he can be part of the everyday fun — school drop-offs, backyard playtime, movie nights, you name it. He is gentle, patient, and so incredibly affectionate. If there are small humans to adore, Gus is all in. He is fully vetted, including a dental, so he’s healthy, polished, and ready for his next chapter. Gus is good with everyone and everything — the kind of easygoing companion who just fits into life beautifully. True to his Golden roots, Gus loves to carry a stuffy around proudly, like it’s his most prized possession. It’s adorable. He thrives on human attention and connection — belly rubs, ear scratches, leaning gently into you for love. He doesn’t just want to live in your home… he wants to be part of your heart. &#226&#156&#168 Gus at a Glance: • 6-year-old Golden Retriever • Fully vetted, including dental • Loves kids and thrives in a family environment • Good with everyone and everything • Carries his beloved stuffies around • Affectionate, gentle, and devoted If you’re looking for a loyal, loving family dog who will adore your children and be your steady best friend, Gus is ready to step into that role like the true gentleman he is. Story
Meet Oakley Breed: Golden Retriever Age: 3 years old Personality: Gentle soul with a very happy tail! Rescue: Mountain Mama Pyrs and Pups Oakley is the kind of dog who radiates joy wherever she goes. At 3 years old, this beautiful Golden Retriever is the perfect blend of playful energy and loyal companionship. She’s confident, deeply loving, and truly one of the happiest dogs you’ll ever meet. What Oakley Loves * Tennis balls? Absolutely. * Her beloved “Lamby” toy? Obsessed. * Running, hiking, and playing outdoors? Yes, please! She would thrive with an active family who enjoys daily walks, runs, and weekend adventures. Oakley would make an incredible running or hiking partner. Social Butterfly * Loves dogs! She can be a little hyper during play so she would do best with a patient, playful furry companion. *Great with cats (previous owner had cats). She adores kids but doesn’t quite realize her size when she gets excited—her happy wiggles can accidentally knock little ones over! Home Life * Kennel trained – sleeps quietly all night. Very calm and well-mannered in her crate. *She was previously an outdoor dog. Now she is about 90% potty trained on one level of my home; she’ll just need gradual confidence-building with full house access (like a puppy would). * Great during bath time and even tolerates a high-velocity blow dryer like a champ. *Oakley needs a yard with a tall, secure fence so she can safely enjoy her outdoor time. On the Go Oakley gets a little nervous in the car, but with a crate or secure hammock setup, she does great—no whining! Training She already knows: * Sit * Lay down * Wait/Stay * Leave it She’s currently working on leash skills and will need continued guidance. With consistency and positive reinforcement, she’ll continue to shine. &#226&#156&#168 The Heart of Oakley Oakley is loyal, affectionate, and incredibly gentle. She forms strong bonds with her people and truly just wants to be near her family. Her sweet nature and constant happy tail make her a joy to have around. If you’re looking for a loving, active companion who will greet every day with enthusiasm and devotion, Oakley may be your perfect match.
