Story
Hi, my name is Juno and I’m a big loving goofball. I love people and I love to play and take naps. I am not too sure what to think of babies and they kind of make me a little timid. I have a little brother who is crawling around the house and I get scared of him when he approaches me.I do well with other dogs after I meet them in a controlled environment. I am a very easy going and relaxed dog.I have a weird thing about shadows and I like to bark at them.I do well with bigger kids but as I said, I am uncomfortable in a home with small children. We are now located in the Des Moines, Iowa area.

Meet Dodger! ❤️ Professional Baby, Champion Napper, and Full-Time Heart Stealer! Straight from Mama Dixie's adorable litter comes Dodger, a darling little Flat-Coated Retriever mix who has already figured out the secret to a happy life: play hard, cuddle harder, and NEVER turn down a good nap! Dodger is absolutely convinced he's a human baby trapped in a puppy's body! This precious little boy LOVES being scooped up, cradled in your arms, and held like a baby. If you're willing to rock him to sleep, well, you've just become his favorite person in the whole world! ❤️ But don't let his love of snuggles fool you! Dodger has a curious little mind and a playful spirit. He's always ready to investigate something new, especially if it involves his big dog friends! This brave little guy doesn't care that they're three times his size. He's ready to jump right into the fun! And the cats? They're pretty interesting too! Dodger thinks everyone should be his friend, whether they have two legs, four legs, or a tail that swishes! After a busy day of exploring, playing with the big dogs, and making new friends, Dodger is more than happy to clock out for his favorite activity — NAP TIME! Preferably curled up in someone's arms, of course! Dodger is the sweetest combination of curious adventurer, playful puppy, and snuggly little lovebug. Story
Meet Gene — Big Personality, Bigger Heart! Part puppy, part cuddle bug, and 100% certified VELCRO DOG! ❤️ Meet Gene, an adorable Flat-Coated Retriever mix puppy with a whole lot of spunk, an enormous personality, and a heart that's somehow even BIGGER than he is! Gene is a fun-loving, playful little guy who enjoys romping around with his sisters, chasing toys, and getting into all the silly puppy shenanigans you'd expect from a happy, energetic boy. But here's Gene's little secret... He's actually a SNUGGLE DOG disguised as a rambunctious puppy! ❤️ Sure, he loves a good game with his sisters, but what Gene REALLY wants is to be wherever YOU are! Sitting on the couch? Gene's coming! Working at your desk? Gene's supervising! Trying to relax? PERFECT! Gene has been waiting ALL DAY for this moment! And if there's an available lap, you can bet this big little boy is going to find his way into it! Gene hasn't quite figured out that he's growing into a bigger dog, and frankly, he doesn't see why that should matter. Laps are for sitting, people are for loving, and personal space is highly overrated! This affectionate little sweetheart has so much love to give. He's the kind of puppy who will play his heart out and then happily curl up beside you, perfectly content just knowing his favorite person is close. Gene is looking for a forever family who appreciates a playful, spirited puppy with an extra-large helping of affection. Someone who doesn't mind having a four-legged shadow and a lifetime supply of puppy kisses! Gene's philosophy on life: Play hard, love harder, and NEVER let a perfectly good lap go to waste! ❤️ Looking for a best friend who will love you with his WHOLE heart? Gene is ready to be your adventure buddy, couch companion, and most devoted little shadow. Big boy. Big personality. Even BIGGER love.
