Story
Does anyone want a cookie? Meet Cookie, a 1-2 year old cream golden mix, around 54lbs. Super friendly girl who just wants attention and to be right beside her person. Dog friendly loves all people. Good on leash. She is not really going to get any bigger so what you see is what you get size wise, and we think she is just perfect, not to mention stunningly beautiful! *All of The Right to Live dogs are fostered locally in San Antonio Texas and will be transported to other states to their new families upon adoption. We believe fostering dogs and not having them decompress in a kennelled environment is more beneficial for the dogs and builds their trust and companionship in a family situation. Adoption fee includes transportation costs, previous/current medical treatment (spay/neuter, etc.) and a health certificate for cross-state travel*

Story
Bailey is a 2 yr old golden retriever mix, around 48lbs. Bailey is a happy go lucky boy who has the cutest ears and smile, and a sweet personality. He is on the smaller side of a medium dog and loves attention. He is incredibly smart and learns tricks and commands with just a few repetitions. He knows how to sit and shake and goes to his room (kennel) when asked. He loves to play with dogs or people and takes treats very gently. Once he’s done playing, he loves to cuddle and hang out on the couch. He would love a home with a backyard and another dog to play with (but the more the merrier!). His right paw has a slight limp due to an old injury, but he doesn’t let it slow him down! He chases cats in his foster home, so a dog-savvy cat if any, would be best. He is great with the toddler in his foster home, but he does jump when he gets excited, so older kids would be better. Bailey is housebroken and good on leash – the perfect dog for your family! Story
Meet Tina! Playful, loveable, and affectionate 70 pound retriever mix. She loves giving kisses and going for walks, and does well on a leash with some gentle reminders along the way. She lives for tummy rubs and is content just chewing on a bone or toy. She is good with other dogs and is bonded to her brother, Buster. She prefers a home without cats. She knows commands come, sit, stand, and down, and is kennel trained and potty trained to go outside. Tina is very treat-motivated. Good with the kids in her foster home (aged 12 and 6), and would do well in a family with or without kids. Fill out an application and ask for Tina at SandiPaws.org! She would prefer to be adopted with her brother, Buster. These two are a bonded pair and were surrendered together. The elderly owner was no longer able to care for them sadly. We were told they are a mix of Golden Retriever and possibly Schnauzer (what they really look like) they have sweet personalities with both breeds blended together wonderfully.. Again they are bonded and need to find a home together, the adoption fee is $500/ bothThank you for choosing SandiPaws Rescue. Story
Meet Buster! This 62 lb two year old sweetheart is energetic, playful, and affectionate. He just loves being petted and would spend the whole day on your lap if you’d let him! He does well with other dogs and is bonded to his sister, Tina. He prefers a home without cats. Knows commands come, sit, stand, and down, and he’s working on his leash manners and will do almost anything for a treat. Buster is kennel trained, goes in easily for a treat and sleeps through the night. He is potty trained to go outside. He has been gentle with the two kids in his foster home (aged 12 and 6). He is looking for a home that will spoil him with affection, treats, and scratches behind the ear. Fill out an application and ask for Buster! He would prefer to be adopted with his sister, Tina. Sidenote these two dogs are bonded and we will not separate them. They are owner surrenders from an elderly lady who could not handle two big dogs any longer. We were told they are a mix of Golden Retriever and possibly Schnauzer (what they really look like), they have the gentle personality of the two breeds mixed wonderfully together. An online application can be found at SandiPaws.org for this bonded duo. Adoption fee is $500 for the pairThank you for choosing SandiPaws Rescue.
