Story
Fun loving and very affectionate Chica 🐕 needs a new home (re: she isn’t trustworthy with “little” kids. -no bites but snappy). History: Chica was brought up from a Mississippi flood in 2019 when she was about 1 1/2 yr. old. She protects the property from mailmen and delivery people 😆. Not sure how she would do if you have other dogs as she likes some dogs and not others. She may not like “sharing you”, but also was previously her big dream to have a rough and tumble playmate. She is generally the bossy girl. She does currently live with a small female cat but despite her size, the cat is definitely her boss 😂. Zero health issues. A little spoiled 970-69O-662 zero

Story
*We will not be hosting an adoption event on Saturday, June 21. Instead, we will offer private appointments for approved applicants this week. Contact us to learn more!* Meet Rose, a sweet and soulful retriever mix in search of her forever home. Medium-to-large in size, she’s the perfect balance of calm and playful energy. Indoors, Rose is a gentle and polite companion who loves to lounge quietly by your side. Step outside, though, and her playful spirit comes alive—she’s a true fetch enthusiast and always ready for a good run. Rose is housebroken, kennel trained, and walks well on a leash, though she might get a little distracted by squirrels or bunnies along the way. She can be shy around new dogs at first but warms up quickly into a fun and friendly playmate. She currently lives peacefully with a dog-savvy cat and shows polite curiosity. While she’s a bit unsure around the toddler in her foster home, she remains respectful and well-mannered. Rose would thrive in a home that offers both peaceful companionship and space to stretch her legs and play. If you're looking for an affectionate, gentle pup with a playful heart, Rose could be the perfect addition to your family. Rose is a 2-year-old mixed breed rescued from a high-intake shelter. This dog's adoption fee is $350 and includes up-to-date vaccinations, microchip, 4DX testing, and spay. Rose is also tested with other dogs, cats, children, and potty and kennel trained. We would love for you to meet this dog and see if she might be a good fit for your home. The first step to adoption is completing an adoption application on our website at www.bounceanimalrescue.org. Pending approval, your application is valid for 1 year, and you will be eligible to request a hold on an individual animal for the Saturday adoption event. The hold does not require that you take the animal home, but ensures you get to meet and make an adoption decision prior to other applicants. Also pending approval, you will be able to acquire foster home contact information, so you inquire on personalities of specific animals. We do offer midweek private adoption appointments for approved applicants pending staff, foster home, and vetting schedules. Because we are 100% foster-based, private adoption appointments are only offered for individual animals. (If interested in viewing multiple animals at one time, we encourage you to attend our adoption events!) Please note, we do not have the ability to process adoption applications at our adoption events, so please plan accordingly. If an application is submitted past 5pm on Monday-Thursday, it will begin review the following day. If submitted on Friday-Sunday, it will begin review on Monday. It takes approximately 1-2 business days for an application to be processed. Our adoption events take place every Saturday from 10am-Noon at Pet Supplies Plus (Front Range Village, 2912 Council Tree Ave #100, Fort Collins, 80525). For additional questions regarding meeting this dog please contact us via text/email at 970.699.6772, or contact@bounceanimalrescue.org. We apologize for any inconvenience, but due to a high volume of inquiries, calls and voicemails regarding adoption will not be returned. Thank you for choosing adoption! Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.June Carter is Looking for Her FOREVER Home! Summary: June Carter is a spirited and resilient dog with a heart full of love. Rescued from the Wind River Reservation at just 5 weeks old, she has grown into a loyal companion with plenty of personality. She is now seeking her perfect forever home, where she can feel safe, loved, and understood. Personality: June Carter is affectionate and playful with those she trusts. She has a strong bond with her foster mom but can be cautious and fearful around men. June enjoys outdoor adventures, snow play, and the company of other animals. She is crate-trained, knows basic commands, and loves learning through positive reinforcement. However, June has some resource-guarding tendencies with food and toys, so an experienced owner who can continue to work with her on this behavior would be ideal. Special Requirements: June Carter has hip dysplasia, which is managed with carprofen and fish oil supplements to support her joints. She needs a home with a securely fenced yard to accommodate her active nature and love for outdoor play. June is not suited for homes with children. Compatibility: June gets along well with cats and other dogs but needs a home where her resource-guarding behavior is understood and managed. She thrives in a calm, structured environment and would benefit from a confident adopter who can help her build trust and confidence around new people. Ideal Home: June Carter’s ideal home is with someone who appreciates her unique personality and can provide her with the care, patience, and understanding she needs to shine. If you’re ready to open your heart and home to June, visit laramieanimals.org to apply today! (Breed mix is an estimate based on her appearance.)Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.  At Laramie Animal Welfare Society, the first step to adoption is completing an adoption application on our website www.laramieanimals.org. Once submitted, your application will be reviewed by our adoption team which typically takes 7+ days.  Keep in mind, the animal you’re interested in when applying may be adopted and no longer available by the time your application is approved. We do not place animals on hold.   Pending approval, your application is valid for 6 months. Also pending approval, you will receive contact information, so that you may inquire about the personalities of specific animals. Adoptions for individual animals will occur by private adoption appointment. Because we are 100% foster-based, appointments are scheduled pending staff, foster home, and vetting schedules.  Should you want to proceed with the adoption, a brief appointment will occur at our adoption center to sign adoption paperwork, receive medical records, and pay the adoption fee.    **Dog/Puppy applications -  Because of the large volume of dog/puppy applications we are receiving these applications may take longer to process, please be patient. We do not do first come first serve but we place the dog/puppy in the best suited home.
