Story
I bought Ranger as an 8 week old puppy. Shortly afterwards, my husband was riding his low rider bike and was hit by a truck and dragged several feet, suffering catastrophic injuries. Weeks of hospitalization, surgeries rehab, meant no time for puppy. Hubby has since been diagnosed with Alzheimer's and is now on hospice, in our home. Ranger has not been neutered yet. We have two small dogs that he plays with and two cats that he annoys by "bumping" them with his nose. He has never attempted to hurt or bite them, just play. He loves kids.....but his size and excitement can cause injury until he settles down. He does not jump on people but he also doesn't know how much space he takes up. He is house trained, know "sit" for brief moments, "kennel", "get your ball", but would rather run and get it, show it to you , but not actually give it to you. He LOVES LOVES LOVES chasing a laser around the yard, to the point of exhaustion. He isn't a barker except at door bell. gentle giant.
