We got our dog two years ago and a year and a half ago.We found out my mom had cancer.We were unable to give Bailey the care that she needed And attention, and because my mom has a port in her chest, we couldn't let her in the house risking.She would jump on her and hurt her. She is very playful, loves to snuggle and is great with kids. She's a great guard dog.

This is Canelo — a sweet, nearly 7-year-old doodle with a heart full of love and energy to share. Canelo brings life and joy to any home. He’s active (sometimes a bit on the playful side!), but always in a fun, friendly way. He absolutely adores kids and has a gentle, patient nature with them. Whether it’s chasing a ball in the yard, going on walks, or simply being close to his people, Canelo is always ready to be part of the action. He’s house-trained, healthy, and fully up to date on all his vaccinations. What we’ll miss most are his cheerful energy, goofy personality, and the deep loyalty he shows once he bonds with you. We’re hoping to find Canelo a forever home where he can continue to thrive — ideally with a yard to run in and someone who enjoys the outdoors as much as he does. Leo is a playful, affectionate young dog who loves attention, hugs, and even being brushed. He enjoys playing fetch and has a fun, energetic spirit, but he also settles well and loves to chill after activity. He knows sit, down, leave it, and come. He is working on leash skills and he is very trainable and eager to please. Leo is looking for a home with consistency, exercise, and patient guidance as he continues learning and maturing. Why We Are Rehoming: Leo has typical puppy energy, and we are concerned about the safety of our elderly parents (ages 96 and 87). Neutered and vaccinated (11/4/25). His neuter incision site became infected, so he received a scrotal ablation surgery on 11/12/25 and is healing very well. Also heartworm negative and current on preventatives. Leo weight 64 lbs. Leo is loving, loyal, and people-focused — with the right home, he will be a joyful and devoted companion. Leo currently resides in a very loving home in the Hayward Hills.
