Story
This is Canelo — a sweet, nearly 7-year-old doodle with a heart full of love and energy to share. Canelo brings life and joy to any home. He’s active (sometimes a bit on the playful side!), but always in a fun, friendly way. He absolutely adores kids and has a gentle, patient nature with them. Whether it’s chasing a ball in the yard, going on walks, or simply being close to his people, Canelo is always ready to be part of the action. He’s house-trained, healthy, and fully up to date on all his vaccinations. What we’ll miss most are his cheerful energy, goofy personality, and the deep loyalty he shows once he bonds with you. We’re hoping to find Canelo a forever home where he can continue to thrive — ideally with a yard to run in and someone who enjoys the outdoors as much as he does. Most of all, we want him to be with someone who will love him like family. If you think you could be that person, we’d love to hear from you. Canelo is ready to bring love, laughter, and plenty of tai

Story
We are looking to rehome our 8-year-old Goldendoodle due to a change in our family situation. He is a sweet, affectionate dog who loves attention, running, and playtime. He bonds closely with his people and enjoys being part of daily life. Recently, there was an incident where he snapped when our 2.5-year-old hugged his face. While no serious injury occurred, she did receive two cuts and we no longer feel it’s safe for him to be around very young children. Because of this, we believe he would thrive best in a home without small kids, ideally with adults or older, dog-savvy children who understand boundaries. He is energetic and can be reactive on leash, mainly from excitement rather than aggression, and would do best with someone who enjoys walks, exercise, and continuing positive reinforcement or training. This is a very difficult decision, and our priority is finding him a safe, loving home where he can continue to be happy and well cared for.

Story
I have a mini golden doodle that is almost 6 years old. We got him when he was 8 weeks old, but unfortunately that coincided directly with when covid started and he wasn't ever socialized properly. He is very anxious and reactive in certain circumstances. He doesn't like men, but is very sweet around women and kids. He has 2 minor bite instances with men that have deemed him an aggressive dog. I am recently divorced with 2 children, so I can't take the chance around a busy household where different kids all hitting puberty are in and out of my house all the time. I believe he could do well in a house with a single woman to look after him and continue his training. He is very responsive to training. With his bite history all regular shelters would euthanize him. He is truly a sweetheart and would give lots of love to the right person.

Story
Ollie's story starts heartbreakingly, but we hope his next chapter will be wonderful. This sweet boy was found abandoned on the side of a busy road, left alone in a crate during a bitter cold spell. When he arrived, he was shivering, and his coat was matted so heavily that it was causing him significant pain. It was a clear sign that he had been neglected for a long time. Based on the condition of his teeth, we estimate this little guy is about 4 to 5 years old. The first thing we did was give him a full, relieving groom, allowing his sweet personality to shine through without the burden of his painful past. Now, this small, bob-tail, 11-pound companion is ready to leave the cold behind and snuggle into a loving, attentive home. Ollie is looking for a devoted family that understands the importance of consistent care. His new owner must be diligent with regular grooming to ensure he never has to experience that kind of discomfort again. Despite everything, Ollie is gentle and has so much love to give. We have had a thorough vet check and he has luxating patella in his rear legs. It is not severe, but will need to be monitored as he ages and he will likely need arthritis meds. He is neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. The adoption fee to bring this resilient little dog into your life is $300. Please apply for Ollie today!
