Story
Steve Martini is a sweet Golden Doodle Maltese mix, at about 1.5 years old and 30 pounds. He was found wandering alone through an apartment complex in South LA. A kind neighbor took him in and searched for his family, but Steve had no microchip or tag, and no one came forward. Luckily, a friend of Shelter Hope stepped in, groomed him, and contacted us to help find him a home. Sadly, during his neuter appointment, the vet discovered he had attack wounds on his stomach from his time as a stray. Despite everything he has been through, Steve’s heart remains gentle, sweet, and full of love. Steve Martini is still settling and remains quite timid, but is slowly working on his confidence. He is affectionate, gentle, and loves pets. He gives the sweetest kisses and bonds with people who show him patience and kindness. He is great with gentle kids and other dogs, and with a little time, he’ll blossom into the happy dog he is meant to be. Steve Martini is fully vaccinated, neutered, and microchipped, and now he is ready for a home where he can finally feel secure, loved, and cherished. If your heart is open to a patient, tender, and loyal friend, Steve Martini is ready to meet you! --------- Looking to Adopt? Submit a Rescue Questionnaire! Please be thorough in your answers. Story
Bernie - 9.5 year old Golden-doodle. Bernie sadly lost his mom to cancer several months ago. He was her world and she was his. He has adjusted but would really love a family of his own. Bernie is very socialized, super friendly with everyone, gets along with both small dogs (he is fostered with two miniature schnauzers) and larger dogs (not sure about cats since he hasn't been around them). He's a great car traveler, he had made several trips across the country with his mom. He's well trained in basic obedience, is loyal and very loving. He loves walks so would be a perfect companion to someone active. Bernie is on the larger side at 82 pounds. He requires grooming but also does shed some (he was an F1 golden doodle and apparently inherited more from the golden). Bernie is very healthy (had recent bloodwork along with a physical), up to date on vaccinations and neutered. Prefer home with a fenced yard.

Story
This is Leo, he is a one year old Goldendoodle. He weighs 39 pounds, and is fully grown. He was left to us by my cousin and his wife, who had had him since he was a little puppy. They have moved overseas and were unable to take him with them. My wife and I then decided to take him, that was two months ago. We did so without checking with our landlord, and now have been told to find another home for the dog or vacate the property, which we really don’t want to do. Leo is a great dog, he is completely house broken, sleeps all night in his crate, is great with kids, as well as other dogs, and has all his shots up to date. We hate to have to do this, but circumstances won’t allow us to keep him. We’re looking for someone, or a family, who is genuine and well intentioned, so we’re asking for a $500 re-homing fee. We will be including all of his eating necessities, toys, bathing products, and his sleeping crate.
