Story
Muffin is a super sweet and loving girl who can be very shy at first but warms up quickly. She is very smart and food motivated, which makes her easy to train with a little patience and hands on guidance. She's 2 years old, approximately 50 pounds, and seems to be almost fully grown. She has plenty of young pup energy and would thrive in a home where she has lots of space to run and play. She's great with kids and other dogs, but would probably do best with a dog who can correct her. She would also do well as an only dog. While she is crate trained and very close to being potty trained, she will need a little extra support and patience as she continues to learn. If you are interested in meeting and/or adopting this baby, please fill out an application. They currently are fixed, up to date on shots, wormings, preventatives and are microchipped (with lifetime registration). Story
Meet Piper Piper is a sweet 70 lb, 9 year old female Golden Doodle. She has lived with other dogs and with children (as young as newborn) and does just fine. She does well on walks and is generally calm. She is spade and up to date on all of her shots and vaccinations. Like all of us, Piper has some preferences and requirements: - She is allergic to dairy, beef and chicken. You’ll know she is having an issue if she licksherself excessively, which will turn parts of her fur orange. We use fish-based dry dog food and that works well. - She doesn’t “do stairs” particularly well - particularly going upstairs if there is a long rise. A few stairs is just fine. It is a long rise that, at least at present, gives her anxiety. She does walks just fine - it is only a long stair rise issue. Our “why” for seeking a new home for Piper: - We moved to a downtown home with stair rises of 15 stairs or greater, indoor and outdoor. - We have multiple trips planned now that we are entering retirement.
