It is with heavy heart that I put my Gibbs up for adoption. He is such a sweet boy but at our age, just can't give him the attention and exercise that he needs. Gibbs would be much better suited for a younger family with children he can play with. Gibbs is a 3-1/2 year old goldendoodle. He weighs 41 lbs and is healthy. He is fully up-to-date with shots and was neutered when six months old. He loves people and other dogs. Gibbs does not bite or show any aggression whatsoever. Since he is a goldendoodle, he does not shed and is hypo-allergenic. Doggie DNA testing shows him at about 2/3 poodle and 1/3 golden retriever.

Oliver was given to us by a family member who is a breeder in California. He does have another dog in the house they get along well. He is reactive on the leash with other dogs. We have tried several different collar options. He is reactive to noises very anxious does not like thunderstorms or fireworks. He is doing okay with our baby who is three months with supervision but does not do well with other children or people that have tried to enter the home and has had to be separated/blocked off. He knows basic commands (sit, out, shake). He loves attention and cuddles.

If you're looking for a dog who believes life is better when we're together, I think we should meet! My favorite place in the world? Right next to you...or even better, on your lap! I'm a total cuddle bug, I give amazing hugs, and if you move from one room to another, don't worry—I was planning on going there too. I just really love being with my humans. I'm pretty laid back most of the time, but I also enjoy getting outside, going for walks (I'm a good girl on a leash!), and I've recently discovered how much fun it is to play with other dogs. My buddy Buddy has been teaching me that wrestling and zoomies are pretty awesome, so I'd love a home with another friendly dog to hang out with. I also have a little secret...I'm more athletic than I look! Apparently I've been watching the deer, because I figured out how to jump a fence just like they do. So I'll need a home with a tall, secure fence and people who will keep an eye on me when I'm outside. Let's talk about food...I LOVE it! Don't worry, I'm not food aggressive at all—I just get a little too excited when it's mealtime. I even eat from a puzzle bowl because I think every meal should come with a fun challenge. I think I'd be happy with respectful kids, an active family, and people who want me to be part of their everyday life. I'm not looking to be a backyard dog—I want to be where my family is. I'll happily be your walking buddy, your couch buddy, your errand buddy...basically your everything buddy. One more thing. People sometimes get excited because I'm a doodle mix, but I hope my forever family chooses me because of who I am, not just what I look like. I'm loyal, affectionate, goofy, and ready to love my people with my whole heart. Gizmo is a puppy of a dog who`s excited for just about everything in life. He came in with Peaches, who is his best friend that he`s lived with for his entire life, and has endured many ups and downs with her. He`s also lived with several different children, and does best with ones who are old enough to respect his boundaries - no tail pulling, no stealing toys, no poking and pulling. Gizmo has the unique ability to parcore over furniture, climbing and leaping in dramatic fashion over the couch or the table, simply because he can and it looks cool. He is incredibly high energy, and needs to have plenty of space for daily zoomies, walks, and play time to burn it all off. Due to his energy, it`s best if he plays with dogs similar in size to him, as he can trample smaller dogs in his uncontrolled excitement. So far, he knows the commands sit, stay, and he`s in the middle of learning how to give paw. We recommend him go with his buddy Peaches into a home with older children who have plenty of time to play with him everyday. If you have kids and other dogs at home, we highly recommend bringing them in for a Meet-and-Greet at our shelter! Consider letting Peaches tag along too!
