To schedule a time to meet this animal, please email meetme@arl-iowa.org.---- Loves people and activity and likes to be at the center of whatever's going on - Has some energy and loves balls and playing fetch; also enjoys squeaky toys and bones for strong chewers - Has been doing amazing in her foster home and loves going on walks and hikes; has even enjoyed a softball game complete with a pup cup- Her foster family said she is just as happy relaxing on the couch as she is exploring outside; loves cuddles and belly rubs and is very calm when being petted- Does well meeting new people when out and about - Knows sit, and her previous family said she also knows high-5, and the words outside, cookies, loves, kisses, no, and ball - Was fully housetrained in her previous home; just remember that any dog may need time to get used to a new routine - May do best with a harness on walks - Not a fan of thunderstorms or fireworks and will seek comfort from her family- Enjoys like-minded dog friends and has participated in dog play groups here at the shelter; prefers to play chase or just hang out with other dogs vs. wrestling - Has lived with cats and did well The ARL's shelter software requires that we choose a primary breed for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable, so for most dogs we are only guessing at primary breed. We get to know each dog as an individual and do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not breed label.
