Story
Jafar is the sweetest boy, very friendly, playful and happy! A far cry from the scared, skinny, matted pup we rescued. He was so afraid to walk thru doorways, and could not manage stairs, up or down!! He put on healthy weight, eats well, is food motivated, and stands for gentle pets and scritches. All required vaccines, tests, preventatives, and he’s neutered and microchip is completed. His breed listing is just a guess, could very well be a Parti-Poodle with his narrow face, and he has a fully curled tail! He will require grooming at least once every three months. Having a secure yard is beneficial, but not necessary. He is young, vibrant, and needs good exercise every day, currently eating puppy food, and that should continue for another six months. He is fostered with cats and other dogs. He does well, but wants to play. Any other questions can be answered via email at marysmutts05@gmail.com or thru a phone call 410-237-3566. Story
Meet Louie! 🐾🤎We’re searching for the perfect forever home for our sweet boy!We adopted Louie after seeing signs of severe neglect. With a healthier diet, multivitamins, and lots of love, he’s made an incredible turnaround and is now THRIVING!Louie is well-mannered, obedient, calm, gentle, and incredibly affectionate. He loves cuddles, playing, and running outside!UPDATE AS OF 10/24/2026: We recently learned Louie has a mature cataract in one eye. It surprised us because he can still see and moves around independently without noticeable difficulty. We want his future family to be informed and prepared to care for him. We’d love for him to have a fenced-in yard to play and explore. We’re in no rush to rehome him. We love Louie deeply and want nothing but the best for our boy. We’re looking for a responsible family who will cherish him as much as we do. After all he’s been through, he deserves a lifetime of love and stability. 🤎

This provides for an easier transition into a new home, ensures the dog remains well socialized, and helps form a bond between the dog and the new family.           Adoption fees cover basic vetting, spay/neuter surgery (at partner vet if not fixed before adoption), rabies, distemper/parvo vaccinations, treatment for worms, heartworm testing, monthly heartworm prevention and monthly flea/tick prevention (while the animal is in our care), and transport costs from high-kill shelter. Please note that on average, K-9 Lifesavers spend significantly more on each dog than their adoption fee. Adoption fee for HW positive dog also covers heartworm treatment at our partner vets. Foster Program:    Foster homes provide for the temporary care of a rescue until the dog is placed into a loving, forever home.  For more information on becoming a foster parent, and our Foster Program, visit  http://www.k-9lifesavers.org/foster/  or email our Foster Coordinator at foster@k-9lifesavers.org.Sponsor Me!    Make a  tax-deductible donation  today by visiting us at http://www.k-9lifesavers.org/donate/. Story
Bella will make you feel like the most fun person on earth.Toss a ball, and she's airborne (three-foot vertical leap). Toss it badly, and she's just as thrilled (ask our neighbor's toddler). Afterward, she'll curl up beside you or under your desk for hours. And her snout will appear under your hand when she needs pets. She's non-shedding and allergy-friendly.She's reactive to other dogs and had a serious conflict with our other dog, so she's hoping to be your only dog, with a fenced yard. She'd welcome a chance to hang out with cats or children. Her allergies and sensitive stomach are well managed with a special diet and daily medication, and full records come with her.Personal circumstances have forced me to move somewhere I can't keep Bella. Her current arrangement is extremely temporary, and it leaves her without a yard and in a stressful urban environment. The right person could make a real difference for both of us.Message me, and I'll tell you all about her.See Bella in action

Story
Cosette is a very high energy dog who needs to live with a family who will have someone home with her daily. She is very sweet to adults but has a tendency to jump at small children so I would not recommend her to a family with children under 15 years old. She would do best at a home with a fenced yard where she can run or with a family who can walk her multiple times per day.

Story
Cooper is a happy, healthy goldendoodle. He is an eager companion and will thrive in an environment where he gets regular exercise and attention. While good with kids, he would do best with older children who are comfortable around large dogs. The reason we are looking for a new home is due to his owner's health and age. His owner (who is also my father) is seventy years old and has gone through multiple health-related obstacles, including hip replacement surgery. We are hoping to find a family for Cooper that can meet his personal needs.
