Tank is a sweet and cuddly young pup. He is 1.5 years old and 20lbs. He is a mini goldendoodle so he has tons of energy. Tank needs someone who is experienced with dogs, is able to work from home, and preferably has a fence for him to run around. Ideally looking for someone who works from home or does not leave the house often as he does have separation anxiety and likes to be attached at the hip. He will need some help with his manners: jumping when excited, nipping/biting, leash training. With a little help he will make the perfect bestie! Tank has a managed seizure disorder as well. With medication it is under control, he takes Keppra twice daily (am, pm). The medication is $17 per month, please take this into consideration! We hardly notice, it is part of his daily routine now and he takes his medication so well with a touch of doggy peanut butter. If you are interested in sweet Tank, please put in an application.

Hi, I’m Winnie. My life hasn’t always been easy, but I’m still here… and I’m hoping my forever family is out there. Before I came to AHOTO, I was used for breeding and then dumped when I was no longer wanted. When I first arrived, I was scared and unsure about the world around me. Everyone hoped I had finally found my happy ending. But just one month later, while staying with a dog sitter, I got scared and escaped. For 10 long weeks, I was out on my own. I crossed big roads, survived freezing temperatures, and stayed hidden because I was too scared to let people get close. Lots of people searched for me and never gave up. In the end, it was another dog who helped save me. Her name is Phoebe, and she came from the very same breeding facility as me. Being near her made me feel safe and because of Phoebe, I finally let the rescuers bring me to safety. Phoebe has now found her forever home… and now it’s my turn. I’m an incredibly sweet and gentle girl! The thing that helps me most in the world is other dogs. I look to them for confidence, comfort, and guidance. Having a calm and confident dog friend helps me understand that everything is okay. Because of everything I’ve been through, I’m looking for a very special home where I can continue to feel safe and loved.
