Story
Rex is a 7 month old golden doodle that is very playful and friendly. If I were to find him a new home, I would want it to be with someone who has time to give him plenty of love, attention, and playtime. He does good in both a home and an apartment. He also loves to take long walks and run in the field. Adjectives I would use to describe him: loyal, gentle, friendly, smart, and goofy.

Story
We’re looking to find our 5 year old mini golden doodle, Archie, a loving home. Archie is healthy, low maintenance and well trained. He’s easy to please. He loves walks where he can walk side by side with you. He loves chasing squirrels though he’s never successfully caught one and he loves a good head rub. We’re heartbroken to be rehoming Archie, but he’s unfortunately not adjusting to having babies in the house. He’s incredibly obedient, but does get aggressive around food. He’s not a reactive dog and would do well with a baby-less household. We have babies in the house walking around with snacks all the time it’s really challenging to always have an eye on that to make sure nothing happens. We’d love to find Archie a home without babies where he can get the love and attention he deserves. We want more for him than we can give right now. He’s a good boy who will make a family really happy just like he’s made ours.

Story
Meet Denzel! He is very loving and sweet. This handsome pup is equal parts dramatic and devoted, a true mama’s boy with a flair for the theatrical. Whether he’s casting soulful glances your way or demanding attention with a perfectly timed sigh, Denzel always keeps things interesting. A rule follower at heart, he takes his responsibilities seriously: especially when it comes to protecting his people. He gets along with other dogs and loves the dog park- although he prefers people. But beneath his dignified exterior is a clingy cuddlebug who thrives on affection and quality time. Playful, loyal, and just the right amount of extra. He knows basic commands, great recall, plays well at daycare, and enjoys walks. He is hypoallergenic and does not shed. Due to my autoimmune condition I am looking to rehome. I have had Denzel since he was a puppy (8 yrs old) . He’s up to date on shots, healthy, I can share vet records. He is crate trained but doesn’t use a crate. Loves all treats!

Story
Joy is an incredibly energetic and friendly puppy, full of life and enthusiasm. She has had wonderful interactions with small children and other dogs, though she hasn’t yet had the chance to meet any cats. I’ve been lucky to have her since she was just 2 months old, and we started the potty training process together. However, I realize she will need some extra support from her future family, as potty training pads haven’t been the best fit for her. My busy schedule has made it challenging to continue her training, but I truly believe she has a lot of potential. Her border collie traits are evident, reflecting her joyful spirit and boundless energy. Joy will thrive in a home that offers plenty of space to play and an abundance of love. She deserves a family who can help her reach her full potential.

Story
Goldendoodle Male Cream 10 years old 82 lbs Meet Cooper: The Dapper Doodle with a Heart of Gold Cooper is a 10-year-old light apricot Goldendoodle with soulful eyes, a calm nature, and just the right amount of goofy charm. He’s low-shedding, crate-free, and knows basic commands like sit, lay down, and touch especially if treats are involved. This ball-loving boy is a fetch enthusiast and adores evening chew time. He walks nicely on a leash (with occasional struts of confidence) and gets along well with other dogs, though he’s content to do his own thing. Cooper loves water—creeks, lakes, puddles, you name it—and sleeps peacefully through the night near his people. He’s alert but not reactive, affectionate but not clingy. A true Velcro dog at heart, he thrives on companionship and will follow you loyally wherever you go. If you're looking for a sweet, smart, and slightly philosophical doodle to be your best friend, Cooper is ready to steal your heart. Story
Goldendoodle Female Red 18 months old 41 lbs RILEY - your sweet, affectionate best friend She’s incredibly sweet and wants nothing more than to please her humans. A mix of affectionate and timid, she’s learning to trust again. She can be easily startled by sudden movements or barking dogs, but her playful, goofy personality is shining through more each day. She’s met many new people and, with a little patience, warms up beautifully. She’s gentle and happily shares toys with our dog. She’s still working on house training and will need a patient family to continue her progress. She’s successfully crated during the day (with the help of anxiety medication) and sleeps quietly in our bedroom at night without accidents. She’s stolen our hearts and deserves a family who will love her for the sweet, sensitive soul she is. She’d do best in a home with someone around most of the time and/or with another dog. She’s easygoing, good on leash, and can adapt to an active or relaxed lifestyle. She’s a truly special pup ready for her forever home. Please Note: Must have another dog at home! *Must have a FENCED-IN yard!* **No children under 12!** If you are interested in adopting RILEY please go to our website www.somersetcottagepoodlerescue.org to see our adoption process and download the adoption application or click below on ADOPT ME!
