Her and her family were surrendered to precious paws by someone who was trying to breed golden doodles and realized they were in over their head and asked for help. Ivory is sweet, loving, playful, and affectionate. She enjoys being around people and loves getting attention, but she’s also happy to settle down and enjoy some quiet time. She does great with other dogs and loves having furry friends around. She’s at that perfect age where she’s still playful and curious, but she’s also beginning to develop into the wonderful young dog she’ll become. With a loving family, some patience, and plenty of affection, Ivory is going to make someone an amazing companion. She’s ready to leave puppyhood behind with a family who will love her through all of life’s adventures and give her the forever home she deserves. If you think that may be you please contact us!

Story
MEET ZOEY!Zoey is a perfect lover girl who just wants to cuddle and give you kisses and go for walks full of sniffs. She’s super smart, a house trained pro, and knows sit, down, paw (shake), stay, and leave it.In the house, Zoey has great manners and just wants to cuddle, chew on toys, and occasionally play tug. Although she may initially bark at a knock on the door (or the sound of a knock on the TV), once she settles she’s extremely relaxed about most things that come her way. She spent most of the time in her foster home cuddling with the family on the couch, with the occasional break for lots of face licks / kisses, gnawing on a Kong, or trying to incite a game of tug.Zoe does LOVE to go outside for a walk (though she’s not a huge fan of rain) and will go from slumbering on the couch to doing spins at the door as soon as you make a move toward her leash. On her walks, she’s a very good girl, goes potty very promptly, and loves to sniff and explore. She pulls a bit on the leash and will bark at other dogs if they bark at her first, but these habits will likely get better with time, redirection, and positive reinforcement from her new family. She’s an unbelievably loving girl and her future family will be extremely lucky to have her snuggling up next to them and doling out lots of kisses every day and night!Zoey is currently up to date on all vaccinations, has been spayed/neutered, microchipped and seen by our vet team.We welcome adopters from NH, RI, CT, and NY however, we are unable to facilitate same day adoptions due to state regulated paperwork requirements. For more information on this or any other animal currently residing at the Animal Rescue League of Boston please visit us during our adoption center hours: Wednesdays-Sundays from 1:00PM – 6:00PM, Tuesdays by appointment only from 1:00PM – 6:00PM, closed Mondays & Holidays. For information about our adoption process click here
