Story
Meet Goose! Hello future family! My name is Goose, and I’m a 1.5-year-old doodle—adorable, if I do say so myself. Around here, my friends call me “Smiley” because I just can’t stop being happy. Seriously, it’s kind of my thing. I love playing catch, going on walks, and soaking up all the scratches I can get. When I’m really excited, I do this little prance that’s guaranteed to make you laugh. Life is just too fun not to celebrate it! I’m great at meeting new people and get along well with other dogs, too. Whether you’re looking for a playful buddy or a sweet companion to brighten your days, I’m your guy. If you have any questions about me, my assistant (they call them an adoption counselor) would be happy to tell you just how cute and wonderful I am, though I think you can already tell. You can email her at lisa.b@poainc.org. If you think you're ready to take me home (and who wouldn't be), you can also submit an adoption application. I can’t wait to meet you and start our next adventure together. 💛 — Goose ❣️

Story
Meet O'Riley, a gorgeous 3-year-old Goldendoodle who is truly the perfect companion. He is a sweet, loving, and beyond gorgeous fellow with a beautiful coat of high-gloss black waves. Within minutes of meeting him, you are sure to fall in love with his gentle spirit and those huge, kind eyes. O'Riley is a "snuggle bug" who thrives on affection and is always ready to repay your attention with warm kisses. He has a gentle disposition and is a complete joy to be around. He is also "Mr. Social," as he adores the company of other dogs of all sizes and is even fine with cats. Whether it’s a trip to the dog park, running errands in the car, or playing with his favorite toys, O'Riley just wants to be part of the action. True to his breed, O'Riley is incredibly smart, alert, and eager to please, which makes training a breeze. At the end of the day, he is perfectly content to curl up as close to his family as possible. O'Riley’s only wish is to belong to a family who will treasure and love him. He would be a wonderful companion for a single individual or a couple, and he would especially love having another dog to play with. He is a deeply trusting and devoted pup who is ready to give 100% of his heart to his new forever home. If you are looking for a loyal, "show-stopper" of a companion, O'Riley is the one for you. He is currently with his foster family in Kentucky and will arrive in the New England area via pet transport once he is adopted. His adoption fee is $875. He is Neutered, current on his vaccinations, heartworm negative, and up to date on heartworm, flea, and tick preventatives. If you would like to learn more and are interested in adopting the first step is to complete an adoption application. Please contact us at MMAY@KYLABRESCUE.COM to request an application or for any further information.

Story
Welcome Goose to CCPAL Rescue. Goose is a 6-year old Golden Retriever/Poodle –Goldendoodle. This boy is gorgeous. He weighs about 70-75 pounds and is a good weight. He is not a shedding dog and will need grooming to keep his coat in good shape. He is good with teens and in a group of dogs, he gets picked on. He is not dominant and hasn’t had a ton of training. He is a smartie and would love a home where he can be the center of attention and get training and attention daily. He has been around teens and we think as far as children go they should be 8 or older. He is a little timid but very sweet. He is energetic and smart. He would like someone that isn’t a couch potato to join him and play with him on the daily. He is getting neutered on Monday and has been getting his vaccinations. He will be ready for adoption in about 1 week. He is currently in Texas and can be adopted locally in Texas or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get him to Washington, Portland, Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. His adoption fee is 600 and transport is 200. He will get a lot of applications. Please be patient. We are a small group and we will be working hard to find this beauty his best forever home. Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states Contact Marlene at 210-867-1769 or email to ccpalinquiries@gmail.com if you have questions. Story
These two bonded female Goldendoodles arrived in foster care after losing the person who loved them most — and despite that heartbreak, they showed up with tails wagging and temperaments so impossibly good that Foster Mom is still not entirely convinced they're real dogs and not elaborate golden-furred angels in disguise. 🐾 Kids? Love them. Dogs? Love them. Cats? Love them. Strangers who walked in two seconds ago? Already their best friends. Fair warning — their arrival greeting involves enthusiastic jumping and joyful barking, because when you're this happy to meet people, subtlety is simply not on the menu. 🐾 Every night, these two walk themselves directly into their shared crate at bedtime like the world's most self-sufficient roommates and remain quiet until morning. 🐾 Housebroken for the most part. They know what's expected. They're doing their best. Aren't we all. 🐾 Great in the car. And — here's the kicker — they do not act their age. Not even slightly. Foster Mom would have guessed years younger for both. They clearly did not get the senior dog memo. Mazzie, Age 11 🧡 Mazzie is what we in the business call extra chonky — and she has absolutely zero regrets about it. She never turns down a treat. When the day is done, Mazzie's happy place is curled up right next to you on the couch, warm and content, living her absolute best life. She weighs 25 pounds of pure, unapologetic comfort dog. Phoenix, Age 13 ✨ Phoenix is, frankly, unfairly beautiful. With looks like she hit the genetic lottery, she carries herself accordingly. At 19 pounds she's slightly more independent than her sister — emphasis on slightly — and while she may not velcro herself to you quite as immediately as Mazzie, make no mistake: she still wants to be in your world. She's just a little more chic about it. Mazzie and Phoenix lost their person. They didn't lose their joy, their sweetness, or their enormous capacity to love — and they have so much of it left to give. They just need a couch, a crate, a treat or two, and someone to be theirs again. If you are interested in finding out more about Mazzie and Phoenix, please fill out an adoption application by copying and pasting the following link into your browser: https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/BRO/Dog Mazzie and Phoenix are being fostered in Shrewsbury, MA. The combined adoption fee is $625. Like Broken Tail Rescue on Facebook!. Follow Broken Tail Rescue on Instagram! Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable, so for most of the dogs, we are only guessing at the predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each dog as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not by breed label. We expect that all adopted dogs will enroll in a formal dog training class with their new owners. Obedience and training classes are an excellent way to learn more about your newly adopted dog, gain handling and training experience, and improve your relationship with your pet.
