Beckett is a happy go lucky fella who was born 12/22/2023. Mom was a Golden Doodle, dad was a secret agent from areas unknown! What we do know is he will medium/large when full grown and a great addition to any family! He is neutered, current on vaccines and preventions. He is working on potty training but it still a work in progress. A fenced yard is preferred. He is a mixed breed and no guarantee of being low-shed. Beckett is located in middle TN, but not to worry his transport is included in the adoption fee with Rescue Riders Transport to one of their delivery locations. We are happy to set up a virtual meet and greet with any approved application. Please contact us for more information or an adoption application.

She is housetrained, potty trained and crate trained and totally trusted in the house while I am gone.  She is counter curious and will steal food that is left where she can reach it.  I have stairs and she has yet to climb them to follow us. Story
Please contact Jamesa (roxysrescue@yahoo.com), 713-882-2610 for more information about this pet. This doodle is CHRISSY, she is about 1 1/2 years old and 44 pounds but underweight.  She has a good appetite and should gain the weight she needs pretty quickly.  She is active but knows how to calm down and rest when I am resting or on my laptop.  She really likes to hang around me but does not cause a stir if I put her in her area while I am dealing with the other dogs. CHRISSY gets along with all of the dogs in my home and I mostly have small breeds here right now.  I do not have any cats in my home so I am not sure how she would do with them.  She seems to mind her own business and follows directions pretty well. She can be a little bit apprehensive on the leash when you first get started but after about 2-3 minutes she will walk next to you you.  She does not get car sick.  She did great getting groomed and her coat is mostly curly when grown out. She was matted when I got her so I had to have her shaved down.  But it'll grow out fast in no time.  She will probably need to be groomed every 8 weeks. CHRISSY does not really play with the smaller dogs but she watches them and she has not picked up a toy.  She likes treats, bully sticks though.  There is no aggression in her in any area and she is a good companion.  She does like to run zoomies in the yards. More pictures are available.   If you are interested in adopting CHRISSY please submit an application on the website below.  Thank you. www.roxysk9rescue.org     ADOPTION FEE & APPLICATION REQUIRED   Roxxy's K-9 Rescue does not have a shelter, all of our dogs are raised in foster homes.  Each dog comes  spay/neutered (fixed), rabies shots appropriate for their age, and dewormed twice.  The dogs are up to date on vaccinations according to their age at the time of adoption.  They are microchipped, heartworm tested and on monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventative.  ALL OF THIS IS INCLUDED IN THE ADOPTION FEE. Story
Mirabel belonged to a family that was not taking care of her. They ran over her leg and did not take her to the vet. The grandmother took her from them because she was dragging a broken leg. The grandmother put her on a chain. Can you believe it?! A Good Samaritan found out about her and got her for us. Mirabel has had the leg removed and is doing great. She is also spayed, vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped, heartworm negative, and on prevention. She gets along with and plays well with other dogs. Mirabel’s foster mom has a button by the door that Mirabel pushes to let her know she needs to go out to potty. What a great girl and oh so pretty. Thank you for your interest in a Save a Stray pet. The first step is to complete an adoption application. https://www.saveastray.org/forms/form?formid=3635 Once the application is approved, a FaceTime will be set up for a virtual meet and greet. Since we are located in Mobile, AL, this will give you the opportunity to see the pet interact with other dogs, people, and see a bit of their personality. Transports leave every week alternating between the NE and the Great Lakes. We use the most animal-friendly transport on the road. Rescue Riders Pet Transport.
