Story
Welcome Goose to CCPAL Rescue. Goose is a 6-year old Golden Retriever/Poodle –Goldendoodle. This boy is gorgeous. He weighs about 70-75 pounds and is a good weight. He is not a shedding dog and will need grooming to keep his coat in good shape. He is good with teens and in a group of dogs, he gets picked on. He is not dominant and hasn’t had a ton of training. He is a smartie and would love a home where he can be the center of attention and get training and attention daily. He has been around teens and we think as far as children go they should be 8 or older. He is a little timid but very sweet. He is energetic and smart. He would like someone that isn’t a couch potato to join him and play with him on the daily. He is getting neutered on Monday and has been getting his vaccinations. He will be ready for adoption in about 1 week. He is currently in Texas and can be adopted locally in Texas or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get him to Washington, Portland, Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. His adoption fee is 600 and transport is 200. He will get a lot of applications. Please be patient. We are a small group and we will be working hard to find this beauty his best forever home. Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states Contact Marlene at 210-867-1769 or email to ccpalinquiries@gmail.com if you have questions. Story
💖 Temperament Goldendoodles are well known for being: Affectionate and friendly — great family and therapy dogs Intelligent and trainable — they thrive with positive reinforcement and clicker training Energetic and social — need regular play and human interaction Good with children and other pets — when properly socialized They often retain the gentle nature of the Golden Retriever and the clever, lively personality of the Poodle. 🧠 Training and Activity Needs Goldendoodles are eager learners and benefit from mental stimulation: Daily walks, fetch, swimming, and puzzle toys Excellent candidates for agility, obedience, and service work Sensitive to harsh corrections — respond best to reward-based training Without sufficient exercise and attention, they can develop boredom-related behaviors (chewing, barking, digging). 🩺 Lifespan Average lifespan: 10–15 years Regular grooming, ear cleaning, and are important for keeping them healthy.

Story
Chicken Nugget came from Bakersfield, highest kill shelter in CA. So to begin with he is lucky. We neutered him, aspirated a small mass on his side (which has not gotten any bigger so we have not operated),his rear legs are crooked, we think due to a possible car accident years ago, but other than that he's in great shape, loves to play ball and canters like the breeze. He has gained weight which is a good sign. Approx 55 pounds now. His teeth are worn down due to ball chewing and paper chewing and he is a a counter surfer but what Lab isnt?. Thought to be approx 7 years old, he loves to run, take walks, good in the car, is very fond of our cat but like a lab, like to be around when the fridge opens and when food is near. He is intelligent and loves his human, has terrific recall and is clean in the house. He is an amazing friend. His eyes pull you in though a good grooming will really bring him up to speed! Adoption fee is $295.

Story
This is Scoot, A one year old golden doodle about 40lbs. He loves his walks, his toys playing catch, playing with other dogs and car rides. Scoot has proven to be a good dog, knows his basic commands, crate trained, has gone through basic training classes, doggy daycare multiple times. With that being said, scoot does need some more work & keeping up on training, he needs puzzles, stimulation, good exercise and a patient owner. He still has some puppy energy. While scoot has grown up with children all ages we know scoot should be in a home without younger children as he tends to be fearful sometimes. He wants to be the center of attention if possible.. so being the Only dog or one of 2 in the house would probably be best. He is up to date on all vaccines, microchipped and neutered.

Story
Please contact Jamesa (roxysrescue@yahoo.com), 713-882-2610 for more information about this pet.Okay, GRACIE does not look too beautiful in these pictures but she is in person and her soul is really beautiful.  GRACIE is a wonderful dog who I rescued from the streets of San Antonio, TX.  She had been hanging out at a bank, just sitting there waiting for someone to rescue her.  She was so happy to be saved.  She is for sure a very loyal and loving dog. I am going to try to groom her this weekend and get better pictures of her but she is an all black dog and those pictures are hard to take and to make them clear.  Her coat is wavy/curly and she does allow you to groom her and she takes a good bath.  GRACIE is a poodle/terrier mix who is 3 years old and 51 pounds. GRACIE's main purpose in life is to play.  She would do best in a home with another dog as a playmate.  For sure she would occupy that dog's time and energy!  GRACIE plays, eats and sleeps to get ready to play again.  She deserves a second chance at having a loving home.  I wish I knew why she was tossed away on the streets because she is such a good girl and I have no problems out of her. She loves to go on walks or do anything that involves receiving love.  She is really a pets pet and will not bother you around the house.  I have on good thoughts and great things to say about her. If you are interested in adopted GRACIE, please submit an application on the website below.  Thank you. www.roxysk9rescue.org     ADOPTION FEE & APPLICATION REQUIRED   Roxxy's K-9 Rescue does not have a shelter, all of our dogs are raised in foster homes.  Each dog comes  spay/neutered (fixed), rabies shots appropriate for their age, and dewormed twice.  The dogs are up to date on vaccinations according to their age at the time of adoption.  They are microchipped, heartworm tested and on monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventative.  ALL OF THIS IS INCLUDED IN THE ADOPTION FEE. We transport across the United States. Medical records will come with each dog at the time of adoption. Story
Please contact Jamesa (roxysrescue@yahoo.com), 713-882-2610 for more information about this pet. This stunning beauty is CLAIRE, she is a 1 year old, 46 pound poodle mix, a sure enough Doodle.  Her body is curly and her face is straight.  I will post a before and after grooming but I have more pictures available.  Also, I am going to try to get a video of her playing with the other foster dogs in the home. Poor CLAIRE was dumped in a field on the outskirts of town.  There was nothing out there but an empty field, she did not have a microchip and was very matted, in a poor condition.  CLAIRE stood still for her grooming and had to be bathed twice to get all of the burrs off that was stuck on her coat. CLAIRE desired to be loved more than anything when I brought her into my home, she constantly followed me around for a head rub and just any attention.  She knubs my hand to pay attention to her.  I have had her in my home for a while to give her time to decompress so I could learn her personality and temperament. She is very playful and the ideal home would be with another playful dog.  I think if she is in a home by herself that she would be a velcro dog with her human, having another dog to play with really makes her happy.  She plays with the small and large breed dogs in the foster home.  She is crate trained and potty trained and even puts herself in her crate when she is ready to take a nap. CLAIRE is only a little 1 year old and still learning, she is treat and food motivated and learns and follows directions very easily.  She would make a great pet playmate as well as a human companion.
