Story
Ace Baby is what would happen if a teddy bear came to life, discovered happiness, and decided to dedicate every waking moment to being the absolute best boy on the planet. He is impossibly soft, suspiciously perfect, and powered entirely by joy. Seriously, this boy wakes up every day like he just won the lottery and the prize is being alive and loving you. His face? Illegal levels of cute. His fluff? Premium, deluxe, luxury-grade softness. His personality? Somewhere between “happy cartoon sidekick” and “emotional support marshmallow.” Watch his video and fall in love with him: https://youtu.be/qQIGIl9TP3c?si=aLd1plIOnru3x3u9 Ace Baby is believed to be a Goldendoodle mix approximately 3 years old and currently weighs 27 lbs. He is a rescue dog and with any rescue, it's always a mystery and we cannot guarantee breed or age. He’s incredibly people-loving and greets everyone like an old friend. With other dogs, Ace is friendly and social, rocking a bouncy, joyful play style and especially loving a good game of chase (even if he’s a little slow… enthusiasm counts). He’s the kind of dog who just wants to be included and have fun. If you don't have other dogs, that's fine by Ace! He adores people and will love being the center of the attention. Ace would also make a great addition to a family with kids, as he is currently being fostered in a home with kids and one of the kids is an infant! He is a little jumpy and likes to dance for his people but his little jumps are gentle. When Ace met our house cat Biggie, he met him appropriately and was very respectful around him. Ace gave Biggie a few sniffs and then was back to strutting his stuff and saying hi to everyone. He did not chase Biggie and Biggie felt comfortable around him too. We do not know if he has ever lived in a home before with a cat. If you have a cat in the home, we can arrange for her to have a sleepover with a cat upon request. Just let us know! On walks, Ace does great on leash and is happy to stroll the neighborhood or explore new places. He'll pull every now and then when he wants to say hello to a friendly face and he may even attempt to immediately go in for a hug LOL! He just loves everyone, he can't help himself. He rides beautifully in the car and is always ready to tag along for an adventure. That said, he’s just as content being a couch potato, soaking up love and relaxing by your side. Ace strikes that perfect balance. Laid-back, affectionate, friendly, and fun. He’s a textbook snuggler in the best possible way and he’s ready to bring loyalty, laughter, and a whole lot of love into his forever home. Ace would love to go to a home that has a backyard where he roll around in the grass, soak in the sun during nice weather, and play with his tennis balls. He loves to play fetch and he enjoys being outside. Not as much as we love to be snuggling on the couch with you though. He might love that even more. Ace is an easy going fella and is an adaptable boy that knows how to match energies and be what you need him to be. Ace is also wonderfully well-mannered. He’s crate trained, potty trained, and already knows how to sit. He’s eager to please and easy to train, making him a great match for people who appreciate a dog who truly wants to do the right thing and make you happy. That's what this Golden boy really is all about, making you happy. If you’ve been waiting for a golden with a heart of gold, Ace is ready to meet you. We are willing to test Ace Baby with anything you need in order to ensure it's a perfect match. We can make anything happen! Just let us know. Ready to welcome a new furry friend into your life? Story
If you’ve been waiting for a dog who feels less like a whirlwind and more like coming home at the end of a long day, you’re going to want to meet Luca Doodles. From the moment you meet him, there’s an undeniable calm about him, the kind of presence that makes people instantly soften, smile, and lean in for one more pet. With his plush teddy-bear looks and gentle, soulful eyes, Luca Doodles doesn’t demand attention… he simply earns it by being exactly who he is. Watch his video and fall in love with this sweet guy: https://youtu.be/IO5DAfrfB84?si=slDEvh-AyW90V14L Luca Doodles is believed to be a Goldendoodle mix approximately 8 years old and currently weighs 61 lbs. He is a rescue dog and with any rescue, it’s always a mystery and we cannot guarantee breed or age. Luca is incredibly people-loving and greets everyone with quiet sweetness, like a friend he’s known forever. He lives beautifully alongside children and truly enjoys being part of a family environment. He’s patient, kind, and happy simply being included, whether that’s lounging nearby during family time, supervising playtime, or soaking up gentle affection whenever it’s offered. He has a naturally easygoing nature that makes him a wonderful companion for a home with kids. At the end of the day, Luca is happiest just being part of your world. Quietly nearby during busy mornings, relaxing beside you in the evenings, and offering steady affection that never feels overwhelming. With other dogs, Luca enjoys companionship more than playtime. He’s perfectly happy sharing space, relaxing together, or calmly coexisting rather than engaging in rowdy games. He appreciates the presence of other dogs but isn’t concerned with roughhousing or high-energy play. If another dog wants to relax, explore the backyard, sunbathe together, and simply enjoy each other's company, Luca is more than happy to do the same. He brings a peaceful, balanced energy to a home with canine friends. Luca also met our house cat Biggie and met him appropriately and was very respectful around him. He did not chase Biggie, nor was he bothered by Biggie jumping or doing what cats do. Biggie also felt comfortable around him as well. We do not know if Luca has ever lived in a home before with a cat and this was our first time seeing him with a cat. If you have a cat in the home, we can arrange for him to have a sleepover with a cat upon request. Just let us know! Luca strikes that beautiful balance so many families look for. Affectionate without being demanding, calm without being withdrawn, and always ready to offer loving companionship. He’s the kind of dog who fits naturally into your rhythm, whether that means relaxing evenings at home, gentle outdoor time, or simply keeping you company throughout the day. He would love a home with a backyard where he can wander, enjoy the sunshine, and take in all the good smells at his own pace. While he enjoys time outdoors, his favorite place will always be close to his people, soaking up love and sharing peaceful moments together. Luca is wonderfully well-mannered. He’s crate trained, potty trained, and already knows how to sit. He aims to please and responds beautifully to gentle guidance. More than anything, Luca wants to make his people happy, that’s truly what this sweet boy is all about. On walks, Luca is a wonderful companion. He strolls nicely on leash, enjoying fresh air and quiet exploration rather than rushing from place to place. He’s just as happy heading out for a neighborhood walk as he is settling in afterward for a cozy nap beside you. Car rides are easy for him, and he’s always content to tag along wherever life takes you. If you’ve been searching for a loyal companion with a calm heart, a gentle spirit, and endless love to give, Luca is ready to step into his next chapter and become your devoted best friend. Story
Welcome Goose to CCPAL Rescue. Goose is a 6-year old Golden Retriever/Poodle –Goldendoodle. This boy is gorgeous. He weighs about 70-75 pounds and is a good weight. He is not a shedding dog and will need grooming to keep his coat in good shape. He is good with teens and in a group of dogs, he gets picked on. He is not dominant and hasn’t had a ton of training. He is a smartie and would love a home where he can be the center of attention and get training and attention daily. He has been around teens and we think as far as children go they should be 8 or older. He is a little timid but very sweet. He is energetic and smart. He would like someone that isn’t a couch potato to join him and play with him on the daily. He is getting neutered on Monday and has been getting his vaccinations. He will be ready for adoption in about 1 week. He is currently in Texas and can be adopted locally in Texas or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get him to Washington, Portland, Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. His adoption fee is 600 and transport is 200. He will get a lot of applications. Please be patient. We are a small group and we will be working hard to find this beauty his best forever home. Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states Contact Marlene at 210-867-1769 or email to ccpalinquiries@gmail.com if you have questions.
