Story
Meet Kelce! Age: 9 MonthsWeight: 38 lbs (and still growing!)Breed: Goldendoodle or Wheaten Terrier Mix (best guess) If you're looking for a fun-loving, goofy companion with a heart of gold, Kelce may be your perfect match! This handsome young fella was found as a stray in Detroit and, unfortunately, was never reclaimed. While his past remains a mystery, one thing is certain—Kelce is ready to find a family of his very own. At just 9 months old, Kelce is all puppy. He's happy, social, affectionate, and absolutely loves attention from his people. There isn't a mean bone in this boy's body. He approaches life with enthusiasm and excitement, which means he's still learning that not everyone appreciates a flying puppy greeting! Like many adolescents, Kelce is working on his manners and will need a confident, consistent family willing to continue teaching him appropriate behavior and helping him become the best version of himself. Kelce enjoys roughhousing and playing with other dogs that can match his energy level and playful style. Toys are one of his favorite things, and he is always ready for the next game or adventure. He has demonstrated a good understanding of house manners once he settled into the routine of his foster home, proving that structure and consistency go a long way with this smart young boy. Because of his size, enthusiasm, and youthful energy, Kelce would do best with older, dog-savvy children. While he adores people of all ages, his excitement and tendency to jump when happy may be a bit too much for younger children or toddlers. Crates are not Kelce's favorite invention, and he isn't shy about sharing his opinion. He will happily vocalize his displeasure when crated, so apartment, condo, or mobile home living would not be a good fit for him. He's also working on leash manners, though his adolescent brain can sometimes make it difficult for him to stay focused on the task at hand. Continued training, patience, and positive reinforcement will be important as he matures. Kelce is seeking an active family that understands puppies don't magically grow into well-mannered adult dogs—they become great companions through guidance, training, and commitment. A physical fenced yard would be ideal, giving him a safe place to run, play, and burn off some of that youthful energy. He is not a good candidate for a tether or invisible fence. If you're ready to invest the time and energy into a wonderful young dog who will reward you with endless love, laughter, and companionship, Kelce is ready to meet you. He's looking for a family that will love him, guide him, and cherish him furever. However, every animal is unique—just as every child and household environment is different. While we strive to set both our foster animals and adoptive families up for success through thorough assessments and transparent communication, **we cannot guarantee any specific behavioral outcome**. Animals can be unpredictable by nature, and behavior may change in new environments or over time. By proceeding with adoption or foster placement, applicants acknowledge and accept this inherent risk and agree that no guarantees, either expressed or implied, are made regarding the temperament or behavior of any animal placed through our program. He is deaf, but has been professionally trained in a 5-week course in which he lived with the dog trainer. He responds to hand signals. He is good with other dogs and amazing with kids. He is very friendly, easy going, and loves to be petted and go for walks. He'll be your best companion.

Story
Cody is from the Amish in middle of Michigan. Putting him for adoption as I’m living with roommates, studying, and working full time. Dad who watched him along with my mom passed away and my mother isn’t able to give him the care alone he needs as she uses a walker now. Cody is a good dog who loves car rides, chasing squirrels in the backyard, doesn’t bark unless someone knocks at the door, is tough to walk at times as he isn’t fully trained in not pulling, isn’t much of a cuddler but likes to lay on his own nearby you. Not the biggest fan of playing catch but will run around a dog park although he is a bit scared of dogs sometimes but not in an aggressive way. He will steal your food if you leave it out. He manages eating his food at his own pace so we always leave the bowl full and he maintains a healthy weight. Never had any bad habits like chewing furniture but when left alone for more than 9-10 hours and sadly he has a couple times he will chew up tv remotes or scratch the door.

Story
Hello my name is Ember and my date of birth is 12:15/2025. Please read my bio in full before applying. I must go to a home with a fully fenced in yard and No electronic fence. I would prefer to have a dog friend that's playful. I do not like my crate so I cannot be home left alone for hours on end. My foster family is working very hard on potty training I'm about 90% there. I have two foster fur brothers that I love dearly so again having another dog would be very helpful. I'm very smart girl I know how to sit. Did I mention that I absolutely love toys? I will need to be professionally groomed every 6 to 8 weeks.

Story
Looking to rehome our almost 3 year old Aussiedoodle mix. We got her as a 8 week old puppy when we were in a different living situation but now everything has changed and we unfortunately arent able to give her all the attention she deserves. She is a good dog (very loving and friendly but will bark before she knows you) and very patient with young and older children. She does have a habit of jumping up on people, but I'm sure she could be trained out of it if given enough attention. She is good with other dogs once she's introduced. She doesn't do well with cats. She had her puppy shots when she was a puppy (she probably needs boosters now) and is spayed. She is house trained. She would do well in a home that has a fenced in yard and lots of loving attention. She went through basic dog school as a puppy. But she started chasing and biting at our chickens. We have been trying to train her not to chase them, but its not working apparently.I really hope we can find her a good home.
