Story
Meet Astrid. Astrid is a 3-4 year old mini golden doodle (35 lbs) ready to find her forever family! She is very curious, and still a bit timid but her curiosity wins out when exploring new places & new people. She is very attached to her foster parents and likes to follow them around the house wherever they go. She is learning to enjoy going for walks, and does very well on the leash. She loves other dogs and will need another dog in the home. She has not been tested with cats, but we think she’d do great. She loves all people but will need a home with older children over age 10 who will go slow and let her warm up to them. She is housebroken with frequent trips outside, and does well being uncrated. She will also need a fenced yard. She is not a fan of her crate but we are working on crate training her. Car rides are also not her favorite, but she has improved greatly since being with her foster family and they are confident she will continue warming up to them. Overall, Astrid is an amazing dog and would be a great addition to any family! She will need a bit of time to fully adjust and to learn not to be scared, but those who are patient with her will have a life long friend. She would probably do best with someone who works from home as she seems to have separation anxiety currently but will also do much better with another dog in the home. Her foster doesn't have another dog to help her feel secure alone. It is a big adjustment from a breeding kennel and may take her some time to adjust. Astrid is now spayed,  up to date with vaccines and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $350.00. If you are interested in adopting Astrid, please visit our website www.lharinc.org go to Adopt and complete the dog adoption application.  Logan's Heroes Animal Rescue 9411 Kings Highway, East Greenville, PA 18041. Beckett is a happy go lucky fella who was born 12/22/2023. Mom was a Golden Doodle, dad was a secret agent from areas unknown! What we do know is he will medium/large when full grown and a great addition to any family! He is neutered, current on vaccines and preventions. He is working on potty training but it still a work in progress. A fenced yard is preferred. He is a mixed breed and no guarantee of being low-shed. Beckett is located in middle TN, but not to worry his transport is included in the adoption fee with Rescue Riders Transport to one of their delivery locations. We are happy to set up a virtual meet and greet with any approved application. Please contact us for more information or an adoption application.

Story
If you hear Golden Doodle and think easy dog,we're here to challenge those assumptions. Meet 20-month old Hank. Hank has issues, but hey, dont we all? Well start with those issues and, after reading all that, youre still reading, boy, have we got a great dog for you! Before you read these, though, please know that Hank is super sweet, cuddly, a great playmate for playful housemates, and did we mention super sweet?? For the family that's willing to look past a few things, he'll be a loving, loyal, cuddly goofball who promises to always be happy to see you and accept you just as you are--just like he needs from you! #1. For starters, Hank has hip dysplasia, which, although it gives him a kind of wonky gait, doesnt seem to hurt him or slow him down. And luckily, there are medications and supplements that really help. #2. Hank has incontinence issues. He signed up for the Enhanced Front End package, but ended up with the Barely Functional back end kit. Were thinking it may be dueto the hipdysplasia and possibly some rear-end nerve damage. With a very strict schedule, his accidents in the house are pretty minimal now, but he does need to wear a diaper at night and needs to go out every few hours--he can't be home alone for a whole workday. The good news is that he loves everyone, so getting a dog walker should be no problem at all! #3. Hank really likes other dogs. He loves to play and has a goofy puppy spirit. But hes not crazy about the chaos that might come with living with lots of other needydogs. One or two dog siblings is enough, thank you very much. But playdates with friends are always a good time! #4. Hank would love to cuddle up to you on the couch and enjoy a good brushing, preferably while you're wearing black clothing, so his blonde fur will really stand out. Hank doesn't call it "shedding." He just thinks that the humans look cold without any fur, and he's got more than enough to share! (Seriously, though, this boy didn't get the "no-shedding" memo that many doodles get!) Still reading? Then you are a wonderful person and just might be worthy of this wonderful dog. Hank is 80 pounds of sweetness, just looking for a soft place to land and someone to love. He loves his toys, chews, and car rides. He walks like a dream on a leash (after the excited first few minutes). He loves cuddles and scratches. You like to hike? So does Hank! You like to settle down on the couch for cuddles? So does Hank! You like to play ball? So does Hank! You like to play chess? So does... well, Hank will make your chess partner feel welcome, he'll cheer you both on, and he'd love to share your snacks! We dont know much about his background, but were pretty sure it wasnt great. However, Hank is thriving in his foster home and hisissues are improving. With the right family thats ready to show him patience, consistency and love, Hank will always be perfect in his family's eyes! We ARE considering out-of-area applications for this special boy, but you will need to travel to southern NJ to meet him and complete an adoption. If you are interested in adopting a dog, please fill out our application. Meetings will not be scheduled without an application. Please visit our website www.rogersrescues.com to learn more about this amazing pet and to see other available dogs.

Story
Polo is the standard Poodle that you have been looking for!   This boy is roughly 5-7 years old and weighs 50 pounds with a little that he could gain to fill out better.   Recently his owner passed away and he was on the way to being dropped off at the local county shelter when a kind woman stepped up and took him home.  Soon Critter Cavalry Rescue was called about Polo and asked to help him find a foster and a new home.  This dog is the best and most chill dog on the planet. He is ALL ABOUT PEOPLE!   He is not a dog that is looking to join a family and be a playmate to another dog.  While he might play some….he just wants to be your shadow and your love.  He is housebroken, totally healthy, happy with a ready smile for everyone and good with all creatures he meets.  Polo needs to transition soon to a new family before he gets attached to the foster.   His heart and soul needs to be settled and reassured he will be loved and not bounced anymore. Critter Cavalry Rescue can help you adopt this boy right now with all the right credentials and good home that you can provide.  Please contact us at ccrtennessee@gmail.com   We transport to the northeast . PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comMay 1, 2024, 5:15 pm
