Story
Sailor! Sailor, at times referred to as Becky with the great hair, IYKYK, is a recent new arrival to us. She was a commercial breeder cast off, although we truly don't know why, but their loss could be your gain. She is listed as a mini golden doodle, and one look at that great hair seems to back it up. Our vet estimated her to be 3-5 years old, and she is approx 30 lbs. Due to her history of being a mill type dog any prospective adopters should be prepared to introduce Sailor to living in a home as a loved pet, and all the finer things in life that come with it. She will need work on housebreaking and leash walking and just generally being a dog. The upside is you get to be right beside her for all of her exciting "firsts" and celebrate along with her! Sailor is already a pretty outgoing dog with new people, given her history, and we think she will flourish in a new home pretty quickly. She is also great with other dogs and would love a dog friend, or could be your one and only. Cats are unknown at this time, but we can cat test her for an approved applicant. Sailor's adoption fee includes her spay, vaccinations to date, and microchipping. She has tested negative for heartworm and tick borne diseases and is up to date on preventatives. Interested in adopting Sailor? go fill an application out at dogtownrescue.org Please note: An approved application and appointment are required to meet any of our dogs. Story
These sweet goldendoodle pups are looking for their forever home! This baby came to us from a bad puppy mill situation. The previous owners explained to us that they were having a hard time selling them and that if we did not take the pups then he would shoot them. This sweetheart is a little shy as we are guessing there wasn't much human interaction with her. She is the absolute sweetest and loves to cuddle up. She is up to date on vaccines for her age, microchipped, dewormed and current on flea, tick and heartworm prevention. To Adopt→ https://tally.so/r/LZ0ZLp Kennel ID #01658

Story
Tyson is an 11½-year-old Goldendoodle mix looking for a loving, patient home where he can enjoy his senior years. He is house-trained, microchipped, and up to date on his vaccinations. He gets along well with children and cats, though his experience with other dogs is unknown. Tyson is sweet, loyal, affectionate, gentle, and loves being around people. He enjoys going for walks and would do best with someone who can take him on regular daily walks and give him the love, attention, and companionship he deserves. My goal is to find him a safe, caring home where he will be treated as a cherished member of the family and enjoy a happy, comfortable life.

Story
Toby is a 6 year old miniature goldendoodle who we have had since he was a puppy. He has a big, goofy, sassy personality, he loves to explore and run around and solve puzzles. He's a great snuggler and loves to roll on his back for belly rubs and eat ice. We have discovered he sadly does not do well with young kids and has bitten both of mine (ages 2 and 4). He also doesn't do well with other animals/pets and needs to be the only pet in the home. He is fully house-trained and crate-trained. He has been to obedience school a few times, and knows all the basic commands but can be stubborn without evidence of a treat. He would do best with an experienced dog owner who is willing to dedicate time to continuing training practice with him (even at home). He would also love a fenced yard. Since we plan to continue expanding our family, we have made the difficult decision that it is in Toby's and our kids' best interest to find him a loving, quieter home to live out the rest of his years.

Story
Corky ❤️ A Sweet Boy Just Waiting to Feel Safe Corky is a handsome little poodle mix, who is about a year old and weighing 53 pounds, has been through a pretty big change in his young life. Corky and his brothers were left behind at a cabin when the renter moved away. For these dogs, that cabin and the life they knew was their entire world — and suddenly, everything familiar was gone. The man who raised them just disappeared and abandoned them. Because of that, Corky is understandably very shy when he is in a new or unfamiliar situation. New places, new people, and especially busy environments can be overwhelming for him here in his first week of being away from the original place he was born. If you take the time to slow down and let Corky figure things out at his own pace, you begin to see a completely different dog. Once Corky honestly settles in and realizes he is safe, he is an incredibly sweet boy. When we met him in a setting where he felt more comfortable, he was friendly and gentle. The shy behavior we see in unfamiliar places isn't who Corky is at his heart — it's simply how he copes when he isn't sure what is happening around him. Corky has lived with other dogs, including his dad and brothers, and seems comfortable having canine companionship around him. He enjoyed being outside and having the familiar routine of his previous life. We think another confident, friendly dog could potentially be a wonderful companion for him as he learns to trust and experience new things. Please don't let his initial shyness fool you — this boy is smart! Corky is very trainable and has so much potential. With patience, consistency, positive reinforcement, and someone willing to celebrate the little victories, we believe his confidence will continue to grow. He may need a little extra time in the beginning, but every step forward will be worth it.   At the vet, Corky is especially shy and overwhelmed, which isn't surprising given everything that is new to him. But when he is somewhere he feels comfortable, we see that sweet personality starting to emerge. He just needs someone who understands that trust isn't built overnight.   Corky will do best with an adopter who is willing to support him on his journey rather than expect him to immediately be the confident, outgoing dog he may eventually become. He needs someone patient and kind, someone who will give him a safe place to decompress, a predictable routine, and plenty of encouragement. There is something especially rewarding about watching a shy dog realize that he is finally home. We believe Corky has the potential to become a wonderful, loving companion once he has the security and stability he has been missing. He didn't choose to be left behind. He didn't choose to have his whole world change. But with the right person beside him, Corky can learn that the next chapter of his life can be so much better than the first.    Corky is looking for someone who will give him the time, patience, and love he needs to blossom. In return, we think he will give you something pretty special — the joy of watching a sweet, smart little dog finally discover that he is safe, loved, and home.  Please contact Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com if you are interested in being the lifechanging person and family in Corky's life. Story
Marley Girl is a happy, outgoing  8 year old Aussie Doodle with a heart full of love and lots of years and life left to share. This young senior girl is looking for a new home through no fault of her own because her natural herding instincts have taken over and she is chasing the chickens at her former home.  Apparently eggs are more important than sweet Marley.   This girl at 8 years is not too big and just 45 pounds and has lived with another dog during her life and also cats.  Chickens are different for dogs and so she is looking for a new place to live.  Marley is is fully house trained and potty trained, She loves riding in a car and enjoys watching the scenery go by as she rides shotgun. While Marley has a few years behind her she has so many more ahead of her. Her infectious smile only guarantees that you will be her beloved family that she will adore as an easy companion dog.  This girl is all about being a loyal, family-friendly companion who is past the puppy stage but still ready for more years of adventures, cuddles and making memories, Marley may be the perfect match for you. if you are a senior or a younger person that just wants a mellow dog to love.  Please email Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com if you are interested.     PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comAugust 25, 2026, 3:25 pm
