Story
If you hear Golden Doodle and think easy dog,we're here to challenge those assumptions. Meet 20-month old Hank. Hank has issues, but hey, dont we all? Well start with those issues and, after reading all that, youre still reading, boy, have we got a great dog for you! Before you read these, though, please know that Hank is super sweet, cuddly, a great playmate for playful housemates, and did we mention super sweet?? For the family that's willing to look past a few things, he'll be a loving, loyal, cuddly goofball who promises to always be happy to see you and accept you just as you are--just like he needs from you! #1. For starters, Hank has hip dysplasia, which, although it gives him a kind of wonky gait, doesnt seem to hurt him or slow him down. And luckily, there are medications and supplements that really help. #2. Hank has incontinence issues. He signed up for the Enhanced Front End package, but ended up with the Barely Functional back end kit. Were thinking it may be dueto the hipdysplasia and possibly some rear-end nerve damage. With a very strict schedule, his accidents in the house are pretty minimal now, but he does need to wear a diaper at night and needs to go out every few hours--he can't be home alone for a whole workday. The good news is that he loves everyone, so getting a dog walker should be no problem at all! #3. Hank really likes other dogs. He loves to play and has a goofy puppy spirit. But hes not crazy about the chaos that might come with living with lots of other needydogs. One or two dog siblings is enough, thank you very much. But playdates with friends are always a good time! #4. Hank would love to cuddle up to you on the couch and enjoy a good brushing, preferably while you're wearing black clothing, so his blonde fur will really stand out. Hank doesn't call it "shedding." He just thinks that the humans look cold without any fur, and he's got more than enough to share! (Seriously, though, this boy didn't get the "no-shedding" memo that many doodles get!) Still reading? Then you are a wonderful person and just might be worthy of this wonderful dog. Hank is 80 pounds of sweetness, just looking for a soft place to land and someone to love. He loves his toys, chews, and car rides. He walks like a dream on a leash (after the excited first few minutes). He loves cuddles and scratches. You like to hike? So does Hank! You like to settle down on the couch for cuddles? So does Hank! You like to play ball? So does Hank! You like to play chess? So does... well, Hank will make your chess partner feel welcome, he'll cheer you both on, and he'd love to share your snacks! We dont know much about his background, but were pretty sure it wasnt great. However, Hank is thriving in his foster home and hisissues are improving. With the right family thats ready to show him patience, consistency and love, Hank will always be perfect in his family's eyes! We ARE considering out-of-area applications for this special boy, but you will need to travel to southern NJ to meet him and complete an adoption. If you are interested in adopting a dog, please fill out our application. Meetings will not be scheduled without an application. Story
Meet Astrid. Astrid is a 3-4 year old mini golden doodle (35 lbs) ready to find her forever family! She is very curious, and still a bit timid but her curiosity wins out when exploring new places & new people. She is very attached to her foster parents and likes to follow them around the house wherever they go. She is learning to enjoy going for walks, and does very well on the leash. She loves other dogs and will need another dog in the home. She has not been tested with cats, but we think she’d do great. She loves all people but will need a home with older children over age 10 who will go slow and let her warm up to them. She is housebroken with frequent trips outside, and does well being uncrated. She will also need a fenced yard. She is not a fan of her crate but we are working on crate training her. Car rides are also not her favorite, but she has improved greatly since being with her foster family and they are confident she will continue warming up to them. Overall, Astrid is an amazing dog and would be a great addition to any family! She will need a bit of time to fully adjust and to learn not to be scared, but those who are patient with her will have a life long friend. She would probably do best with someone who works from home as she seems to have separation anxiety currently but will also do much better with another dog in the home. Her foster doesn't have another dog to help her feel secure alone. It is a big adjustment from a breeding kennel and may take her some time to adjust. Astrid is now spayed,  up to date with vaccines and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $350.00. If you are interested in adopting Astrid, please visit our website www.lharinc.org go to Adopt and complete the dog adoption application.  Logan's Heroes Animal Rescue 9411 Kings Highway, East Greenville, PA 18041. Meet Tiramisu.... OMG... So adorable Tiramisu is a petite 13 week old female Mini Goldendoodle. She was pulled from a puppy mill in the midwest when the pet store she was originally sold too with her siblings rejected her. They said she was too small compared to her siblings. Poor girl..... Tiramisu currently weighs around 4.5 pounds. We estimate her full growth weight to be around 15 - 20 pounds. She is 3/4 mini poodle and 1/4 Golden, so she is more hypoallergenic. Tiramisu is very sweet. Staff Favorite for sure.... She is loving foster, she plays with toys and the other pups very well. She also loves getting attention from all the volunteers. Tiramisu is being fostered in Stony Point NY. She is using a wee wee pad for potty training ** Send an Email to Onepawatatimerescue@gmail.com and request an application ** That is the only way to get an application. We do not accept the AdoptApet application Adoption fee is $950 We adopt in the Tri State Area ONLY NJ, NY, CT, PA, DE, MA, RI, NH

Story
From tragedy to triumph, Tuna Doodle Casserole’s journey is the epitome of inspiration! After being subjected to a life of starvation and torture, his ‘owners’ decided they didn’t want him anymore. They threw him in their car and dared to bring him to the local shelter in horrific and heartbreaking conditions. Despite facing abandonment, mistreatment, and severe neglect, Tuna has proven to be one of the most resilient pups who overcame the toughest odds with a wagging tail and a heart full of love! While his past may have been ruff, Tuna's future is bright and filled with endless possibilities! Now, with a twinkle in his eye and a bounce in his step, Tuna is ready to embrace the warmth of a loving family. His playful nature and boundless energy make him the paw-fect companion for anyone seeking adventure and love. Whether it's a leisurely stroll in the park or a sprint around the block, Tuna is always up for some tail-wagging fun! With a heart as big as his appetite for life, Tuna is eager to shower his forever family with cuddles, kisses, and unconditional affection. Although he's not quite fond of feline friends, Tuna's love for humans knows no bounds! He's a social butterfly who thrives on companionship and cherishes every moment spent with his beloved hoomans. So, if you're ready to open your heart and home to a furry friend who's brimming with joy and zest for life, then Tuna is the doggo for you! Story
Meet Dahlia! Dahlia is a 2 to 4 years old Golden Doodle that weighs 44 pounds. Dahlia truly could not be any sweeter or more docile. She is pretty shy meeting people for the first time but really all she wants is to be hugged or held and loved until she opens up a bit. Dahlia does wonderful in a crate and has been doing really well with saving potty time for outside but may still need a little more work with that. She will walk on a leash with patience and persuasion but needs some help feeling confident in her surrounding on a leash. Dahlia does great with all of the friends she has met including kids and dogs of all sizes and age, and even does well with the cats! Dahlia tested positive for lyme disease and anaplasmosis and she has been the recommended process for both immediately following the results. She also had detailed lab work sent in which was unremarkable. Dahlia had a dental cleaning at her recent vet visit. Interested in becoming a forever home for Dahlia? For immediate consideration, please fill out our online adoption application: http://www.friendswithfourpaws.org/adoption-form.html This is the first step in our process, and we DO NOT go any further without an application. If there are multiple dogs that you are interested in, please fill out an application for each dog. This does not include bonded pairs, one application will be fine. We have different adoption coordinators working with different dogs, and your application may be missed if you only apply once. Find more adoptable pets, news and information on Instagram @friendswithfourpaws or our Facebook page Friends with Four Paws . We put a lot of time and energy into processing our adoptions to find our babies the best fit home for them and you. Please do not submit an application if you are not serious about adopting Dahlia. We are so excited to work with you to find you a new forever friend, and Dahlia the perfect forever home, and appreciate you working with us. Our adoption fee is $525. This includes their spay/neuter surgery, full (age appropriate) vaccinations, microchip insertion and registration, deworming, heartworm testing and prevention, flea and tick prevention and travel expenses. All of our dogs are rescued from local shelters and the general public. Each dog is then placed in a foster home where he/she is kept for quarantine, to ensure if the dog gets sick it can receive proper treatment. We have foster homes in the NJ/NY area waiting to receive their fosters. Once an animal has received an application or there's an adopter interested, we make arrangements for transport. If a dog is already in foster care in NYC/NJ, an adopter will be put in touch with the foster home AFTER an application is being processed. Thank you in advance for your patience with our process and for making adoption YOUR option!
